The entire car chase scene is a reference to the Dukes of Hazzard, which was a tv show in the US during the early 80s. to add: it might be worth noting that Matt Stone is Jewish and the jew jokes that aren't coming out of Cartman's mouth should probably be taken as satire. Personally, I kinda feel like they're usually making fun of what the uninformed *think* jews are like, but then if you don't know enough to recognize the satire, you're more likely to just take it all at face value and laugh at the antisemitism. But then there's people like my Uncle, who married into a non-Orthodox Jewish family full of teachers and business-people and professionals, and he and his family absolutely *love* south park. They were the ones who got him into it, even, so who knows. Either way, it's funny af
