The Flattest Champion of Mondstadt (Patreon)

Bluesky/PixivYou always need to be careful while gliding, especially at high altitudes! You'd think Amber would know this by now.===============================================================Artist's Journal:- Inspiration: Previously, I mentioned having fixed up five characters for some requests, one for each participant including myself, yet only three characters got done, leaving the mysteries of who I picked and who the last requester was and who they picked. Seeing as how I hadn't finished any final render yet, I actually struck a deal with that last person, offering to completely change her request and lift the limitations I previously imposed (Only Three Houses characters and only people who have played through at least one of the game's routes). So, Amber was made to have a small gliding accident.• The pose is mostly based off of a drawing of Mythra that she sent me.- Getting that wind glider took me hours when it really shouldn't have.  Let's just say that I spent a lot of time digging into a lead that got me no results by the end of it.  The amount of time I wasted was at least double the time it took me to fix up Amber's model, which is to say about four hours.===============================================================Trivia:

1. Friends:- The last requester was none other than Robin-nen. I thank her kindly for her patience in all of this. I actually worked on this right away after she agreed to my proposition because I generally dislike owing favors and not delivering things I promise to make. It may have also been moments before her birthday at the time I brought it up as well.2. In Universe:- Title: One of Amber's voicelines is, "Get ready for the gliding champion of Mondstadt!"• Even though she is in fact, a Champion Glider, she's also gotten her license revoked quite a few times.- Amber is the one who gives you the ability to glide at the start of the game after she gives you a wind glider.• The one Amber is wearing in the piece is the Wings of First Flight, the same one she gifts you.- Since Amber's an archer, I thought it would be fitting to make the arrow pointing towards the follow up image more akin to one fired from a bow.• The color scheme used for it is taken from Amber's.===============================================================Credits:- Characters: Amber (Genshin Impact).
