Lighter-Than-Air Maid (Patreon)

Bluesky/Pixiv...As a dutiful maid would.===============================================================Artist's Journal:- Inspiration: The baseline for the idea was the thought of a character struggling to keep upright, but Noelle immediately came to mind paired with the concept.• She's canonically extremely strong physically, to the point where she shatters swords just by swinging them (This is why she uses a claymore), so if anyone could lift themselves off the ground, it'd be her.• She isn't the type to simply stay idle either, especially when people need her help.• She also has a geo vision, which I imagine could be used to reinforce herself even as a piece of paper against the wind (Especially since Mondstadt is the city of the anemo archon).• Title: This is a reference to Noelle's signature dish, Lighter-Than-Air Pancakes.- I actually needed to readjust the claymore (And by extension, Noelle's arm and grip) quite a few times. If it was too vertical, Noelle wouldn't be able to reach the handle for the posing, but if it was too horizontal, the claymore would be out of frame.• Speaking of posing, I forgot how tedious fingers were to do if you wanted something specific out of them. Definitely needed quite some sculpt mode fixing tossed in to achieve a decent result.===============================================================Trivia:1. In Universe:- The claymore that Noelle is using to hold herself up is the Whiteblind, which honestly might as well be her signature weapon with how well it fits her kit.- The text used is almost word for word for a line that Noelle will sometimes say when she's fallen in battle. Only this time, she's fallen flat.===============================================================Credits:- Characters Used: Noelle (Genshin Impact).
