Ayaka's Ice Dance (Patreon)

Bluesky/PixivCategory: CompleteInspiration: Ayaka, as part of her dance for the Traveler, freezes the air around her. Problem is, she's standing in the middle of a river when she does just that...My Thoughts:- I really like Ayaka's expression here. It feels like just the right amount of shock mixed with, "I didn't think this entirely through."References:- For anyone unaware, if your character has the wet status in Genshin, they get frozen if cryo is applied afterwards.- Of course, everything here is meant to represent Ayaka casting her elemental skill.• I remember that recreating the cryo symbol below Ayaka was probably the toughest thing about this piece in general. I couldn't just apply a uniform outer glow to the edges, so some manual intervention was necessary.• However, looking back, if I had to redo this, I would adjust the perspective of the circle since it's off. Otherwise, I generally like all the effects.
