Flattest Ranger Collei Reporting (Patreon)

So, while she was handling some sumpter beasts, some things didn't quite go as planned...My Thoughts:- I couldn't actually work on this project for a long time despite having the idea in my head. To my knowledge, nobody had ripped the sumpter beast for a while after Sumeru's release and I didn't know as much about ripping assets as I do now.- In order to make the grass here, I "cheated." Instead of using a particle system due to the weird topology of the ground, I just manually duplicated and sculpted the grass. I even accounted for trampled grass where the footprints are.- While not a new concept to me, I made a really interesting design choice here to include outlines on the sumpter beasts. Not really sure why, looking back at it. The reason I don't normally add them to flat characters is because I'm concerned about it ruining the effect of the manual Photoshop depth I add to stills, so I don't add them to non-flat characters either to keep things consistent. Maybe one day I'll do some testing to see how it fares.References:- Sumpter beasts are normally quite friendly. However, in normal gameplay, it's not uncommon to encounter them as enemies who will not hesitate to charge into your team.
