Content: Eldritch Monster x GN!Reader, NSFW doodle below

You take another sip from your coffee with calculated measure - you don't want to empty your cup too soon, nor drink with a frequency that'd indicate you're bored.

On the other hand, being alone with the monstrous creature is a rather peculiar experience. He hasn't said anything yet, save for the mechanical murmur of his improvised TV head. Your eyes drift along the deep, ungainly stitches adorning his skin. He looks like a poorly sewn puppet, or an autopsy patient that sat up too early from the worktable.

At last, the screen lights up, jolting you away from your thoughts. You look up at the static text that has begun forming behind the curved glass.

"Is there something wrong with my appearance?"

Ah, so he has been observing you. Your cheeks burn faintly at the realization that you've been caught staring, and you wave your hands in awkward denial.

"No, no, it's not- well, I mean...Is there a reason for all these scars?"

"It holds it together."

"...Holds what together?" you lean back in your seat, eyebrows raised.

The eldritch aberration takes a moment to compute, perhaps weighing his answers.

"My true form, that is. I have been told it can be unsightly for humans. Yet, I did not have enough time to prepare something more intricate. These," he types, pointing at the patches of skin, "are scraps borrowed from the material world. There's nothing to use within the void."

What a strange affair, you think, nodding to his explanation. A being which exists in empty space, something inside the nothing. How does that work?

"Alright, then. What does your true form look like?"

The long, clawed fingers constrict themselves into a fist. He was not expecting you to be so nonchalantly curious about it. Could his calculations be wrong? He's been told humans are afraid of abstract, cosmic terrors. Then again, you have willingly signed up to be a potential mate for such creatures.

Computing...

"I mean, you don't have to sprawl open right here, on the spot," you remark, now particularly invested, "but I am a monster fucker, so..."

The screen abruptly goes black. Very well, he shall fulfill your wish.

"Allow me to demonstrate why our bond is a flawless, mathematical certainty," a quiet voice echoes from the depths of his ribs, as the thread pops and tendrils begin to crawl their way out.
