Thanks to all who voted in the area poll!The winner is official — Snowy Mountains will be the main setting for Update 0.4.0 ❄️

A classic for mountains is of course Harpies and wolves. Could also do a dragon or similar. Ice/snow spirits ofc. as mentioned. Mountain would probably be a good spot for some more abandoned mines, perhaps some more expanded underground content here as well?

I imagine Oni, harpies and ice spirits like Yuki-Onna would fit quite well all with their own transformations. Potentially could also include in that region stuff like bandits who transform people into obedient slaves to be sold/used, finding outcast people/criminals who have been exiled/hiding in the region that try and trick the protagonist and steal his body so they can re-join society and not be seen as a criminal or maybe something like a female Dullahan on the trail around the mountain who steals the protagonists head for their own transforming him into a new female Dullahan to repeat the process on the next unsuspecting traveller. Could include caves belonging to a dragon with cursed treasure in them that triggers transformations such as turning into a female statue, mimic monster girl etc.

Yuki-Onna Is definitely one to have, maybe another wolf or even a winter fox (kitsune maybe?)

Bandit's who use potions similar to the brothel seem fitting, Yuki-Onna is an obvious one, maybe an easter egg/joke end of a Christmas joke or something, like a reindeer or Santa himself, since it's snow.
