One of my goals moving forward is to make combat feel more strategic, where players are encouraged to actively choose their weapons, potions, and spells depending on the area they are exploring. For example, if you’re fighting enemies in a snowy or ice zone, fire weapons and spells should feel significantly more effective, while other elements may be less optimal.

Right now, this system is still very early and underdeveloped. I’ve received feedback that overall difficulty has been noticeably reduced, and I don’t want to solve this simply by increasing enemy HP.

With magic and spells being added in version 0.5.0, I want to rethink how difficulty and elemental combat should work together.

Poll Question:How would you like combat difficulty and elemental strategy to be improved moving forward?

I would hate to see a simple combat system. One of the reasons I play a game is to PLAY it, if I just wanted regular nsfw content I would visit rule34

Saitama 452

I'm fine with both, but also would like the option to just, Unga Bunga through the enemies.

I want the game to be a little more challenging but not in the way that it was before the change in difficulty. Before the change it felt like a Dark Souls game with more RNG and made it frustrating. Now it just feels like you could just spam one move and make your way through fights. So probably some more difficulty through the two options but still trying to keep it from being too hard to keep players from just up and quitting because of it being a TG/TF game. Also you could also try and do something like what Odyssey of Gianna did and see if there is a way to the game open up through a launcher where the player selects the difficulty to help both fans who want it simple or fans who want to have it harder. Only problem is I don't know how it was done and even then it will be a lot harder to manage the two difficulties with each update. Just wanted to give some thoughts, I hope this feedback helps!
