In previous Friday Polls, we discussed different possibilities for how to handle new NSFW scenes involving Mikaria. I have reached a conclusion.

If this kind of content is added, it will be handled only through potions, allowing Mikaria to become temporarily futa for a single scene. Of course repeatable if the player has the potion.

This would be a new mechanic, mainly intended for specific scenes with companions. Outside of those situations, Mikaria would remain 100% feminine throughout the rest of the game.

I decided on this approach because of the very large discussion around whether Mikaria should be futa or fully female, and this feels like a middle ground that could allow that type of content to exist without permanently changing her identity.

Voting no, I'm personally not opposed to futa, just our protagonist being the one to get it. She should be the one getting screwed, lol. Your game though, and it kinda seems like you wanna.

While I'm still not really the biggest fan of this kind of content and if necessary would kind of just prefer the futa stuff to just be given to other characters (keeping a relatively smaller role), with Mikaria then instead dealing with their advances as I think that kind of dynamic fits her character better currently. Since most of the sex scenes in the game now other than the transformation/bad end based scenes usually involve someone coming onto Micah/Mikaria first with them being more coerced/seduced or otherwise kind of forced into the sexual situations instead of really seeking it out other than things like the brothel etc (which I currently really like how all these scenes have been handled so far), this kind of still fits with their whole dynamic of still caring about Gina and looking for her rather than her going out of her way to make herself futa or otherwise and then initiating the sex with others which might feel somewhat out of character (unless mental corruption plays a big role or something). Though I don't know if my feelings on stuff like this will change in the next update since you seem to be adding more sexual scenes involving her and the companions anyway plus any potential future developments to their actual character so we will see and I will keep an open mind to most of this. So regardless of all that I am somewhat open minded to the idea of temporary potions for Mikaria to use though I will just also mention that hopefully this means that there won't be sacrifices made to non-futa scenes, they don't overshadow other content, don't too heavily impact the story and the scenes themselves mostly stay true to everyone's characterisation (unless there are corruption elements involved with it of course). Also if you go through with this approach I will just add that I still think it would be kind of beneficial to have somewhat meaningful narrative related to it even if it's small instead of it just being some potion you can buy or get everywhere and/or so it doesn't just feel kind of random on why they are even choosing to use stuff like this. Anyway If you need any ideas for how to add these potions, you could do something like add a small side quest where Mikaria is trying to find a way to transform themself back into a man maybe getting the help of someone skilled in creating potions. Once you help provide them with materials or help them out with some task, they believe they have created something that will work. However when you drink the potion it just makes Mikaria futa for a very short period maybe due to the effects that changed her to begin with cancelling most of it out, stopping her from transforming back (Could regain the exact same dick as the one that she had as Micah or just very similar showing the original intention of the potion just that it isn't strong enough or whatever) could then have some sort of maybe optional payoff scene using it before it disappears, then after the quest is done you can just return to the potion creator and buy more temporary potions that can then unlock the optional futa scenes with some companions when used or just ignore it once the quest is done. Not only does this kind of establish the potion in the world while keeping it contained to mostly only Mikaria having access to it but also adds some development to her characterisation showing that they maybe still haven't fully accepted their new body yet. If not going this direction could have it only sold from an exclusive specialised store or something to show that it isn't some super common thing and is maybe something not a lot of people have access to or even know about. Also if you are looking for suggestions on why they would keep taking it or why they would have sex with others under its effects you could have it so it causes them to feel extremely horny that won't go away pushing them to have sex with someone to relieve how pent up they are feeling and could have it so actually drinking the potion has a somewhat intoxicating addictive quality to it (from the pleasure afterwards or the overall sensations of taking it) giving them a potential reason to drink another one. Though feel free to disregard these suggestions if you already have plans.

I am for being permanent female, since it make sense for being forced to als including losing the male thingy. It could be an additional curse mechanic, like a "were-futa". For example if she is low on mana/health, she would turn into futa.

with the potion approach, it would also be interesting if there were ways for other party members to use the potion and to have their own scenes with Mikaria and each other

I'm not agreeing. How can she learn to be more feminine if not by practicing and seeing other women in action? Futa is temporary just for the scene tho, to me is totally valid. She could learn new lewd skills in camp based on relationship level doing like this, and have meaningfull scenes to bond with companions. And she can still be screwed by whoever and put into practice what she witnessed during the story being momentary. To me is the PERFECT way to go.
