UPDATE: ok I stumbled onto the clues for the most of the side quest in a third run through but now I'm working on "He Needs Horns." it says Gunnar should be near Willo'wisk but I cant find him. however I see 2 unreachable NPCs in Willo'wisk. there is also a chest up on a cliff near one of those NPCs. I have just completed the vampire mansion quest and still can't locate anyone named Gunnar. wondering around the town or outside the town.

<i> *Possible bug found* I have stumbled around Valmora speaking to every NPC at least half a dozen times each, crawled into every hole, nook cranny and building I could access. I managed to get MOST of the side quest. I am now sitting at the port for the main quest missing Toward Thamora. this is my third run through of the game. however 3 side quest still evade me. Missing Dog, Hut in the Woods, and He Needs Horns. the first two I suspect are quest that are tied to each other that requires a key I have yet to find anywhere and no clue whatsoever on its whereabouts. help with this would be appreciated. The last one is the most frustrating. I suspect its a bug. I have spoken to every NPC in Valmora that I can reach and see several NPC I can't that sit on top of cliffs and little islands. I can't find anyone named Gunnar anywhere in Valmora. If he is in Thamora then this quest is currently not completable. that sucks. you really aught to put in a fast travel back to Valmora. even if its temporary so that players can go back to finish the side quest they may have missed, like I did, while we wait with baited breath for your next updates that will eventually allow us to use the intended means of returning to Valmora; as I suspect we will need to do at some point. also I have come across 2 chest that are inaccessible. one sitting on a cliff with an NPC in Willo'wisk near Tomoko's tavern and then there is the sealed chest in the Solitude mine. I get the sealed chest. that one is likely tied to a quest that I either haven't found yet or you haven't added yet. but the one in Willo'wisk. Really? I cry foul. putting a chest out of reach is just cruel. lol. also don't know if this was intended but there is a door access point in the paddock at Lulu's farm. cant get to it. lastly, what is the deal with the Port Tavern? can't access in at all. it suggest a quest being tied to it but I haven't found any.</i>

Hello! Yes, some of these quests are complicated, to complete Missing Dog and Hut in the Woods you have to look for a chest in the Solitude Forest (outside the hut in the woods) at the right side of the screen, there is a hidden path. Gunnar lives in the abandoned cabin next to the Giant Lizards in the Willo'wisk swamp, not in Willo'wisk main town. Every chest is accesible, but some of them are tricky, please, send me a dm on Discord so I could help you better!

There is a checkpoint to start at the beginning of the second act, it is a bit complicated to do more of those :(
