I've been drafting the beginning scenes of Chapter 6 lately, so I have a little looksee for you. ^_^

You spur on Gambit to hustle up next to Flit as she plods along. Oswin flinches like he wants to look at you but is resisting. Sitting up straight in your saddle, you prepare to bridge the gap between you. You want to comfort Oswin as a friend. Even if he doesn't accept it, he needs to know that what happened wasn't his failing.To your shock, just as you are trying to find how to address him, Oswin speaks."Would you chat with me for a bit at camp?""Sure," you say, a bit perplexed at his offer."We'll have a good amount of time before we bed down. I…I'll get my work done first and we can speak after we eat." He finally looks at you. You see how red his eyes have gotten and how dark circles bruise them."That's a good idea. I think we should clear the air."

He gives you a smile, one that's warm but tired. "I would appreciate it if you would also try to speak with Zahn. She doesn't seem well. I have tried twice, but she won't be honest with me and I'm…not in a good state to be of help."
