Checking In (Patreon)

Hello lovelies!

I'm stopping in to say hello and give a status report.

My last couple weeks were extremely busy with work and personal life. So I've been too exhausted to work on Chapter 6 much. However, the new coding for the NSFW stuff was hammered out and Rune's spicy extra is complete! I just need to test it and make sure I haven't missed anything. When this extra drops, I will ask for your feedback so I can make adjustments and such (or if it's bad, we can just nix it). I'm pleased with how it has turned out as well (there's a sample at the bottom of this post)! I'll be writing the cozy Rune extra next and will probably do the next installment for the winter series.

Next week, I will have two glorious days off! I have some literal housekeeping to do, but other than that I want nothing more than to work on Chapter 6. I have badly needed a nice chunk of solid time to work on it. Since my personal life has been more flammable this year, I haven't gotten that solid time to sink into it and I miss doing that a lot. I will have more time off in general this month I think I will only need to do overtime for one more week.

Also, in personal events, my 10th marriage anniversary is at the end of this month (this is our 15th year of being together)! That's kinda blowing my mind right now. I'll probably take a day off to just hang out with my spouse, maybe go hang out at a haunted bridge or something...

So, don't take this as a for-sure thing but my goal is to get Chapter 6 fully written by the end of the month or beginning of June. If that is possible, if that happens, Subscribers may be getting access as soon as June. I will know more about if I'll meet this goal as we get closer to mid-late May. If it happens, there will be no extras for June, but we can certainly have some conversation about the Chapter and I can field questions about it!

After Chapter 6 is out, I plan to spearhead right into Chapter 7. I actually have some scenes for it written already and I know the path I want it to take. It is more story-driven, a bit like how Chapter 4 was with little branching/choices. You'll still get time with your ROs as you go, but there's a lot more movement that needs to happen. I'm extremely excited to get to this section of the story!

Also for this month, I will release one of those little side project things I asked you about in my last post. Most people were interested in seeing some other things I've played with. I'm debating about which one now. One is lighthearted and a bit chucklesome, the other is a bit darker/rougher. Neither are finished of course, but perhaps one day we can change that.

You like him. You know you like him already. He shows you who he really is so easily. He treats you differently from the others. He's softer with you, even if you tease him or make jokes. Maybe he feels the same connection?

You sigh. Would he like you too? Could something happen between you both whether love or passion? There's a glow from the trees which interrupts your thoughts. Purple. It's Rune.

A snicker is caught in your throat as the glow of light gets closer. You wonder if Rune can manifest his magic in other colors or not as he comes through the trees bathed in purple light from an orb floating above one shoulder. The pretty light reflects so enchantingly off…his bare skin.

You suddenly realize that Rune is mostly nude. You're shocked for a moment as you gawk, too caught up with surprise to avert your eyes. He clutches a linen towel around his waist, low on his waist. His skin is beautifully highlighted by the purple glow, showing off how supple it is and making you wonder how good it would feel under your hands. He holds the towel tight to keep the small amount of fabric from slipping away, but it only serves to highlight the strength of his thighs and perfect curve of his ass.
