Duri Sneak Peek (Patreon)

I added a little bit of fluff to Chapter 6 and I wanted to share a little tease for it!

Once your MC gets home, they get the option to ask most of the ROs if they'd like to room with them. Whatever you choose will add a little different flavor to your time at home.

*For the below, the she-wolf will be called Shakira.

You sit up to find Duri sound asleep on your legs, atop the bedding, half-shifted and fully nude. There's a thump-thump-thump as you look over and see Shakira on the other side of the bed wagging her tail. She's filthy, covered in mud, muck, and only the gods know what else. You cover your nose, but Shakira doesn't seem to take offense; she just looks happy to be there.

"Duri," you say. "Duri, wake up. Why is Shakira in my room and covered in mud?"

The demigod groans but doesn't wake.

You shift and kick your legs a bit to jostle him/her around. "Duri," you insist.

He/She finally stirs and lifts his/her head to you with a drawn-out yawn. "Ravinder? What are you doing here?"

You snort. "You're in my room, you oaf. And so is Shakira. Did you bring her in here covered in filth?"

Duri wrinkles his/her nose. "Don't worry, I brought her through the window. Is that smell coming from her?"

You look at your completely soiled bed linens and sigh. "Yes, it is. What is she covered in?"

"We found a pond last night…she may have rolled in some dead fish or something."

You try not to gag. "Why did you think it was a good idea to not only bring her in the house like that but let her get on my bed?"

Duri snuggles against your legs again. "She wanted to see you. That's all that was going on in that little head of hers was your image and smell."

That gives you pause. "That's…that's really cute."

"Right?"

The wolf in question beats her tail against the bed, watching you with soft eyes.

No worries, Duri gives her a bath and washes your bedding. ^_^
