New Sample Project Posted, December Lineup, AND Holiday GIVEAWAY (Patreon)

Hello everyone! So sorry that I’ve been pretty quiet lately, I’ve been ill for a week or so, and with a holiday fast approaching, I was a little fried. I took time to rest, read some things, and paw around on Tumblr for a bit while I recovered.

Regardless, here is the next project sample for your enjoyment! I didn’t really have a working title for this, but I pulled something from my writing to use that works.

A quick note:  some passages have timers. If you are worried that it has bugged, just give it a few seconds at least to do its thing. I tried to time them for effect, but kept them fairly quick when possible, or at least quick enough for an average reading speed.

I do hope you find something to like with this one. It turned out a lot shorter than I thought it would, and I’ll be real with you, it was a struggle for me to get through. A good chunk of time went into coding and some design elements that you’ll see, and it strained my little brain to shift gears into that. You’ll see what I mean, it’s very different from my usual at the start, but I wanted it that way so you can feel a “shift” after a certain point.

I really like this starting concept, but I just wasn't feeling a direction for it beyond the initial premise. After it was mostly done and I had only vague ideas of where it could go, I chatted about it with my husband. He sparked some ideas for how it could develop that I quite liked (I am trying to get this dude to write or co-write an IF with me soooo maybe? He’s a hella-good writer). I’m hanging on to these ideas because you never know when that spark is gonna slap you. This futuristic/cyberpunkish sort of stuff isn’t my forte. Some light tech advancement is more my jam. For some reason, my brain turns off when we’re talking fuuuuuture-type things.

While you read, note that I have “hidden” 2 choices that will take patience, one more than the other, to get. That’s the only clue I'll give. :3

Unfortunately, even if this one — for whatever reason — becomes popular, I don’t know if I would feel comfortable putting it into production. I just could not drum up anything I really liked to do with it that would motivate me (at least not so far, I may need to just sit with it a while). It’s a fun character creator, and the whole thing still has potential, but I may be too out of my element and flat out unmotivated to work with it now. When I first pitched the idea on Tumblr, someone mentioned it might make a good one-off story rather than an IF, or even an IF with just one RO, and I think I agree with that (as far as my writing capabilities go).

Anyway, since you’re here, let’s get into the December lineup!

I’ve been kicking around ideas for next month. This is a bad time of year for me to be thinking, lol. I need to keep December as simple as possible, which means no interactive content. This may extend to January as well. That said, I still wanted to provide you with a variety to enjoy.

So, both tiers can expect some sneaky looks into Chapter 7, a bit of lore, and a POV (that I am still undecided about - more on that later). Since it’s the season of giving, and you should always remember to treat yourself too, the Raven tier is going to get a mini series dedicated to self-pleasure! These will be a mix of short extras featuring some of the ROs (and maybe a couple of guests) enjoying themselves.

Also, because it’s the season of giving, I’ll be giving out some Patreon subs this December!

I’ll be posting this publicly as well, and I’ll be giving away a total of 4 1-year subscriptions and 12 1-month subscriptions between here and Tumblr. A drawing will take place on December 24th.

If you are actively subbed on Patreon or Ko-fi (no matter when you were last charged, as long as you are active) from December 1st through 11:59PM December 23rd, 2025 [my timezone (America/Chicago: UTC/GMT -6 hours)]:

You will be entered for a drawing for one of three 1-year subscriptions.

If you “like” a specific post on Tumblr, which is not yet posted, by December 23rd:

You will be entered for a drawing for one 1-year subscription AND twelve 1-month subscriptions.

Rules:

You can enter both drawings by being subbed and by liking the Tumblr post.

However, no person can win more than once. If you win through one platform, you are out of the running for all subsequent drawings.

Should you already have a year-long sub or do not want it if you win, you may choose to give it to a friend or decline, and I will redraw a new winner.

Monthly subscriptions will be given out as soon as possible after the drawing ends.

Year-long subscription winners will start on January 1, 2026, and end on December 31, 2026.

Subscriptions are not redeemable for any other prize or monetary value.

Subscription winnings will be offered via Patreon; however, if you are an active Ko-fi user and do not use Patreon at all, I can still grant your winnings. Ko-fi does not offer gift-subs yet, so a workaround is required, but it is possible.
