Spicy Content (Raven Tier) Opinion Poll
- Option A 16
- Option B 48
- You would be happy with either 51
*Disclaimer: This poll will also be ran on the Raven Tier separately to gauge current subscriber preference versus public.
So, I have a question for anyone with a vested interest in the spicy content posted for the Raven Tier. I had a conversation with a Tier member about the gender-selectable ROs, and it gave me an idea.
As it stands, I do not have the time to devote to fully customizable spicy content every month. I like to do this whenever possible, but if I did every month, it would basically eliminate the time I can put into the main game. I know the balance can never be perfect enough to make every subscriber fully happy, but I'm open to ideas and trying new things to create a balance we all like. I've brought this up a time or two before, and I've tried to balance the RO features by voting, alternating, and such. So, first off, I will be tracking that more thoroughly in 2026, but I also wanted to gather opinions on another possible way to do balanced content.
During months where custom content will not be available, I currently write 3-4 (depending on total word count) one-off snippets for the spicy tier. When these feature one of the gender-selectable ROs, they might be voted on, chosen at random, etc., but I try my best to alternate between male and female (not a perfect system, which is why I'm tracking this next year).
I would like to know, if you were subscribed to this tier, would you prefer:
Option A — I stick with this method, producing at least 3-4 unique stories, each featuring different ROs.
OR
Option B — When I write a story with a gender selectable RO, I write both the male and female variations, but publish less unique content overall.
To explain further: In a month when two selectable ROs are used, only two unique stories, each with two variations (one male, one female), will be published. If a month features an RO that is already set (such as Oswin), but the other story features a selectable character, both variations for them would still be written. I’ll note that this might enable me to do more with each story (longer, more fun with kinks or situations, etc). {Caveat: Obviously, I cannot make variations for the MC or their role during these. The MC's role is sometimes chosen by voting, sometimes alternated from the last time they were written, or left a little ambiguous.}
