Checking in:  Corrections, Q&A, Upcoming Content, and Something Extra Special! (Patreon)

Hello everyone, just wanted to stop by with some housekeeping. Sadly, I have no mints for your pillows.

First off, I went through the error reports today and fixed lots of pesky typos. Kudos to my spelling and grammar warriors out there. A couple of you were super diligent in getting those little guys reported, and I appreciate that.

And shout out to my readers who noticed something wasn’t quite right in the first scenes of Chapter 7! After Kanta gives their report and leaves, there was AN ENTIRE PASSAGE MISSING. I don’t know how I missed that, but I added it in, so that moment will make more sense now. It’s not too far into the chapter if you’d like to go back and read it. It’s also not super critical to understanding what is going on, but it provides some context for the emotions and what Aster said that created some tension.

That said, if any of you have questions about Chapter 7, I will be taking them for a Q&A that will be posted after March 20th. I’ve already received a handful of questions geared towards a particular person, but you can ask about anyone or anything, and I will try to answer while still avoiding spoilers. Some things will be clarified in Chapter 8, of course, but I don’t see a reason to keep it all top secret. You can DM these to me here, submit an ask on Tumblr, or comment on a Patreon post.

So, onward to future extras. For the Raven Tier, the end of March will bring you the counterpart to the February spicy Rune moment, featuring F! MC and F! Rune. After that, F! Zahn will also get a similar spicy extra. Now, for the Crow Tier, I want to ask you something (this includes Raven Tier since these are for you, too). I would like to do more POVs. I feel like the number of POVs is lacking so far; however, I need your help and would appreciate it if you could share some ideas for POVs you’d like to read. This can be from anywhere in the game. I feel like I’m legit bad at thinking about these (being behind the keyboard doesn’t help me see those interesting gaps that you see), so I would really appreciate input on these specific moments. I already have a couple of ideas from past recommendations, but I’d like to plan content more in advance than I did last year, and I know we have some new members lurking about. I would also like a selection to choose from that fits my inspiration or matches other content that may be posted.

The Pinned Post includes links to Google Forms for feedback and suggestions; however, please send them however you are most comfortable. You can even start brainstorming in the comments.  I’ll add here, too, that once my Tumblr inbox is caught up, I will be turning the Anon asks back on.

And this doesn’t just go for POVs, really; if you have any suggestions, I’m happy to take them. One idea I’m cooking up for a side story is for Oswin-mancers. Since it’s not in the main story, I thought it would be a good idea to take MC through telling all the friends and family about their new relationship and seeing reactions. I also want to do more world lore and some character interviews. So, if you have any specific desires regarding those, I’d love to know them.

Finally, on to the extra special thing...

I have been working on merch! It’s taken...a long time and a lot of work to get everything ready, but I think we’re nearly there. If you’d be interested in a GC momento, there will be some options for you. You’ll find prints, stickers, magnets, and some clothing as well. And we’ll even have the luxury of expanding into other items (if you want Oswin’s face on a coffee mug, I’m not going to knock it). I’ve had to wait on clothing samples to see the print quality, and I have three more that I’m waiting on before I feel confident enough to open the entire shop. The stickers, posters, magnets, and button pins have looked incredible, so I’m very hopeful that the shirts and hoodies will look fine. I should have those items in just a couple of days if it works according to plan. I will post more specifics then with some pictures! Even if the clothing doesn't work out, I will still open the shop for just the posters and such, since I know those will be fine.
