The shooting with Elfa from June 2025 in the Ex Manicomio di Monbello was shot entirely on the Fujifilm GFX 50S II + "Martin" (the Zeiss T* 1,4/85mm Planar ZF named after the Patron that sponsored part of the purchase). This was marvelous, but also crazy, so I doubt I will ever do it again, because the use of this camera is too demanding, not so much during the shoot phase itself, but more during the editing phase, making the work very slow.Ideally every future shooting should made, in various proportions, with at least 3 cameras:- the medium format GFX for the highest quality pictures- the Leica M10 Monochrom for some exquisite BW- the wild card camera. As wild card camera I'm mostly planning on reintroducing the Leica SL2-S (or the Panasonic Lumix S1 in dangerous locations), to be used in conjunction with some specialistic lens, and to work quickly and efficiently. The 3 different approaches are going to provide a plentiful and varied output, that will outline each model full potential.

But, for the moment, I'm enjoying this shooting of Elfa made exclusively on medium format, because it is like admiring a gallery of those huge painting you can find only in museums.

The GFX system may make you work hard but with results like this, it is worth it. So much is spectacular about this picture.
