Checking on Milano. (Patreon)

In March 2025 I was still experimenting with the newly acquired Fujifilm GFX 50S II, sticking lenses in front that did not cover the entire sensor. I was not worried because I was planning to crop it in square format anyway, but most of the times I was reaching the edges of the frame, so now I have to include some vignetting inside the crop (see the top right corner of today's photo).

Nowadays I discovered some lenses do cover the full sensor, and I tend to use only one of those lenses on the GFX, which is "Martin".I had to learn this camera fast, and I had some difficulties only during a couple of shootings, with Maria and with The Endless Sinner (in this photo).But problems were minor, and the results are satisfying anyway.

I loved to see The Endless Sinner walking around the balcony fully naked in the middle of Milano, and it is convenient we were overlooking on the most iconic skyline of the City from the top floor of this building.Having a balcony available always open up new possibilities for the pictures, even if it is a cloudy day.You just have to hope your model is naughty enough to accept the challenge... and this model surely was!
