Light is always a very important ingredient of every picture, and when there is a special light I always try to play with it, by placing the main subject in the right position. This was not direct sunlight, but a reflection on a window from the other side of the road, and lasted for a very short time, but enough to shoot a long sequence of photos.Clearly it helps to have a pretty subject like Martina to place in the light, but we must not forget all the small details present in the room, that are useful to create a context for the model, and making the photo more genuine. For example the lamp, or the remote control, or the radiator that is forcing Martina to assume a awkward position, still looking natural and comfortable.I don't do studio portraits, I like to place my models in locations that are going to affect them, and sometimes "ruin" the photos in a good way.

Tomorrow new shooting with a brand new model in Milano, the 2026 season has definitely started!Stay tuned!
