The Leica M240 + Summicron-M 50mm is a great camera to shoot when light is abundant, and the results are exceptional. This was Sugar in an abandoned boiler factory in Carvico, in September 2023.

I'm deep in the rabbit hole of printing to prepare my celebrations for 10 years of the project, something small and humble, but with plenty of problems already.Don't ask me why but the BW pictures are coming out very well on print, whilst the color pictures are awful. On Monday I will meet with the photolithography technician to see how we can fix the issues, and get the prints to resemble what my MacBook display are showing on paper, but I'm seriously considering BW photos only... or abandoning the celebrations altogether. But I feel the obligation to make something real from all of this digital world I've created online, at least for this special occasion, and despite the lack of interest that I'm anticipating from my community of followers.I hope it is going to be a way to get in contact with new people, potential models, and maybe open up the doors of prestigious locations. But my lack of experience in the field of printing (at least in the last years of my life) is creating huge problems with translating my vision between media. And costs of printing are huge, especially if you want to work to a quality level above average, no wonder most printing houses are closing down in Italy.

Maybe look into getting prints done in Germany. My model friend sent me many high quality prints and even a large, hardback coffee table book of her work. She said it was all cheap. (Maybe it was because she knows the printers (?), but that's just a guess.) This was before and at the start of the pandemic though, so it could have changed by now.
