I'm very happy about my month of July, I shot 2 models with 17 years between them!So maybe the career of a model is longer that we could imagine...

Nikoll is the younger of the two, 19 years old, and I got A LOT more frames out of her: 810 in 2,5 hours compared to 340 in 3 hours with Stelladiplastica.This does not matter much in the larger picture, but it is interesting anyway, especially if you consider it was Nikoll, of the two, that was requiring to pause for smoking several times!It is a mystery how time is running away during a shooting, but I'm happy to have so many pictures of Nikoll to choose from.

So why today I'm posting 2 pictures of Nikoll that are so similar when I have so many to chose from? Because I like them both and want you to see them.I shot these portraits on the Leica SL2-S + Contax-Zeiss Planar T* 85mm f1.4 (not "Martin", this is the vintage version from 1980 I purchased earlier this year together with the 4 Leica R mount lenses).

And why am I keeping the best picture (arguable as we can see her eyes open), for regular social media instead of favoring my Patrons?Because I need her to see the best of the two on my Instagram, even if cropped in square format.This way she will remember about me, hopefully she is going to let me know next time she comes to Milan, and we'll all get many more pictures of her to lust upon. I'm sure you understand the reason I had to make this choice but, to make amends to my Patrons, I've selected another photo of Nikoll and scheduled it for Saturday, one I shot secretly whilst she was smoking on the balcony during a break, and this will be for your eyes only.Stay tuned.
