Day 3 - Monkey business. (Patreon)

If Maria does not climb like a monkey on a tree or anything else all the time, there must be something very wrong with her!Fortunately she was in great conditions every single day, and willing to play like last year.Here she was climbing down the tree after having proved her prowess once again!To say the truth, I was the one trying to calm her down, convincing her not to risk too much, but she was still young and reckless as we learned to love her in 2025.

I was following her around during her explorations along the whole length of the beach, and taking some candids with the Leica SL2-S + Leica MACRO-ELMAR-R 1:4/100mm, not the ideal camera to shoot candids whilst walking backwards...But then we found a really interesting spot or, shall I say a "corner", and I had only this camera with me, which is not a bad choice for more artistic pictures.I will show you this "corner" soon enough, and explain what caught my eye about it, for the moment I can tell you the Leica SL2-S + Leica MACRO-ELMAR-R 1:4/100mm was indeed an overkill for candids, and difficult to use, but the few pictures that turned out well are very good indeed, and results from this lens are spectacular and natural at the same time.
