For today I have selected 3 pictures I took whilst Maria was stationary in the same spot, in one of the corridors running around the pavilions of the Ex Manicomio di Monbello, and I was moving around her, testing light frames and everything else. This was on August 2025, and we had just started working here. The point of view you see in this photo is from inside the garden present in most pavilions, and Maria is in the corridor running all around the garden, behind her you can see a room and an open door leading to the forest outside. I shot only a couple of picture from here (one vertical and one horizontal), because I could see some of our stuff on the floor behind the legs of Maria, and because the light was too harsh in contrast.Selecting and working on the pictures, I discovered the Fujifilm GFX 50S II was actually capable of handling this high contrast, my stuff was not disturbing too much and the picture was still meaningful, so I decided to make it a keeper.

Later today on my regular social media feed I will show you a photo shot exactly from the opposite side of Maria, so from the room behind her; Whilst on DA Subscriptions I will show you a picture shot from inside the corridor, on the left side of this frame you're looking at now.

Not only you should explore the model herself, but you should also test the various point of views all round, and how the light works on the subject from all directions.

Beautiful. I love the interplay of her tattoos and the shadows.
