I wish you and your family a healthy and safe new year! 🎄💚

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my channel. You've brought so much joy and meaning to my every day, even in the midst of the most stressful year as we were managing through pandemic with my little ones. And on a practical side, I was able to bring some income even when schools where closed and many of my commercial projects cancelled. Thank you for your patience as I was figuring out the best way to present information, listening to feedback and trying different approaches to make my tutorials more effective over the past few months. I've learned so much from you, I am very grateful for you all and I can’t wait to see what we create together next year!

ps:  there will be some gouache tutorials in 2022, so I am leaving  here with a little gouache holiday card featuring my "other" other style, and I will see you in the next year with more content! xoxo

As a new Patreon member, I was scrolling through your work and saw this. How beautiful, I love it. Would it be possible for you to do a tutorial for this, or one that is similar? I understand it's painted using Gouache. I live in WI., U.S, and there are many people here with Northern Europe heritage (my grandfather was born in Sweden) so pieces like this are especially appealing to me and I'd like to paint it for my mother. I did see a similar Easter tutorial and may try it, but to do it circular rather than egg shaped 🤞. I'm so looking forward to learning from you and practicing using your great tutorials!

Welcome to the channel and thank you for your support! I am delighted this caught your eye. This is indeed a gouache folk art - I was born in Ukraine {before moving to Canada as a teenager} and gouache / tempera folk art was my only "real" art school at the time:) Yes, there is indeed an easter egg class here showing this style, and all the strokes I use. There is also another more extensive class with 3 eggs on my Skillshare {accessible via Tier 2 on Patreon}. There are also a few videos in this style on my Youtube channel {sadly they don't do very well in terms of views, but I always sprinkle a bit of folk art throughout the year}. Enjoy!

Thank you Dana! 💜 Toronto is in lockdown again, with schools closed, but I am carving out a little bit of time at the end of the day to make progress on Gouache - thank you for your patience.

Anna Bucciarelli

💜💜💜 Thank you Jo! You're so amazing and supportive. Toronto is in lockdown as of today and schools are closed, but I am somehow less stressed than last year and just counting the days till spring, carving out time here and there to paint. Congrats on your shop! and Happy New Year 💜
