I am putting the finishing touches on the new botanical tutorial for you - you may have caught the brief Youtube version on Sunday already πŸ’œ It will be about an hour and a half, beginner-friendly and less β€œlayered” than our recent composition. In part because I wanted to create a more accessible tutorial for all my botanical Watercolor lovers, and in part because painting has been difficult (to be completely honest Ive been devastated emotionally since Feb 24). Thank you all for your encouraging words and for allowing me some time to process the events in my home country. The past 20 days have been incredibly stressful as we are trying to reach out and help family and friends who are able to leave Ukraine, and also coordinating / contributing to broader initiatives organized by Ukrainian community in Toronto to support people who lost their homes / those who remain in the country fighting for their freedom. I wont say anymore beyond this , but I will be writing back to everyone who reached out individually over the past 2 weeks. I just need some time. Thank you for your patience.

I'm so encouraged to see this post for a few reasons. The first and most important is that as difficult as this time is, you are working through the pain and encouraging those you can. It seems this might be your purpose, to encourage through your art and other areas of your life as your share with us how much you are doing for people who've lost their homes. I'm also very happy you are staying a part of this group. You bring a lot of happiness through your tutorials and I'm so appreciative. I love floral tutorials. When you are feeling better, I hope you do many layered florals of white flowers and any flowers. Anyway, I hope you heal with the rest and the world finds more peace.

Anna, our hearts go out to you, your family, friends, and country. Stay strong. We are with you and prayer for this war to end. Pat

I am still praying for you and your family, and Ukraine. I can't even imagine what you are going through. I find that a shorter tutorial is sometimes better for me because I am somewhere between the beginner and intermediate level in my art journey. The longer tutorials are sometimes a bit too much for me.

πŸ’™πŸ’› 😘❀️ Take all the time you need. There is enough on your channel to discover for us. Watching some YouTube "oldies" , or for you to upload some over here will do too. If that gives you more time to help your relatives. And when you paint, hopefully painting gives you some peace of mind.

Every time I hear about the bombing in Kyve I think of you and your family. This whole invasion is so unnecessary and I hope it will stop soon. I hope your family is safe wherever they are. Take care of yourself too.

I am thinking of you and your family and all with ties to Ukraine every day. May we each do everything we can however big or little, and not turn away. I wish you comfort and I pray for the safety of your loved ones.
