Here I explain what gear I used to make the super macro shots in the e-paper video. I forgot to mention that I returned the tube system you saw in a previous update video because using a 200mm lens yielded much better results. I didn’t doa very good job explaining it, but I hope it’s somewhat understandable…

Your macro shots from the epaper video are incredible. Hoping you find more ways to use this setup 🙂🙂 Very interesting to see how you managed this behind the scenes too. Maybe a studio tour or "gear tour" could make for a good patreon video next?

Not a bad idea, I should probably make more 'BTS' videos anyway ;-)

The clock uses BLE, so I was able to set the time with using the nrf connect app. I think it was writing the unix timestamp into a register or something, maybe with an offset because china has another time zone.

Ok, I understand about half of that 😁 But you managed to set the time outside of China?

Yeah, I've used an app to read/write the registers directly over bluetooth low energy and figured out somehow to set the time correct for germany. But I don't know exactly what I did. But it also works with the Xiaomi app now.
