DAX031: Sven round table discussion (Patreon)

Hello Diamond Hard Patrons!

As more of Dax is being completed, let's have a think about the next character Dax meets. Sven is a popular choice, and he is also something of a blank slate which we can add a bit more personality to. Here is what we know about Sven:

Sven, the "Goth on the Beach", is a dark metal musician, the lead singer of his band Mangata. He is on vacation at Balangaw Island Resort, not for the sun, sand or snorkeling, but for the the large population of fruit bats, the "flying foxes", which inhabit the island. Bats are his spirit animal, and he has a bat tattoo on his arm. He has a small black ukulele and plays metal music. He tends to be self-deprecating. He protects his sensitive pale skin from the sun with a parasol, and prefers to go out at nighttime.

What we don't know for sure, is what his sexual interests might be, or his motivations. Maybe it his mysteriousness that is attractive, so his intentions should not be so transparent, as Lupe's feelings toward Dax may be. Maybe having an unreadable character would be a really good contrast to Lupe. Meanwhile Riley has a sort of mischievous demeanor where one cannot tell if he is lying or not.

Or should something cheesy happen, like he falls for Dax romantically, and becomes musically inspired, but writes cringey romantic ballads and happy pop songs, ruining his personality?

Or Sven might have hidden fetishes also. We don't have a character with a fetish yet.

As is fitting with what has been established, Sven and Dax would most likely meet at night, after the bats have flown off and the sun has set. Would they have sex on the open beach, under the full moon? Away from view?

Is there another theme that has not yet been explored that could really make "Episode 03: Sven (working title)" interesting? Let's have a discussion and I will reply to as many comments as I can! Round table discussion will happen through the month of March.
