Another overly long chapter... I could have probably written more and split it into two to avoid burnouts, but I didn't want to leave this one hanging. For those who guessed that Myr is on the table, they were right.Anyway, you can read the previous chapters in the collection.

You're really good at writing large scale battle though. And they're always fucking badass! Ned is such a baller in this fic and I'm loving it.

Omg it seems Winter and Ned both got babies this chapter! I’m dying at the show of friendship that means delivering Nymeria and her baby along with a ton of jewels, gold, and valyrian steel. Maybe Jon will kill enough people that Rickon manages another meeting? I did have to chuckle at Ned’s latest intel of Westeros coming from his six year old. So many new families to settle in the North! Even Gendry found himself a wife! It just reminded me of how truly dead and gone Arya Stark is 😭 Ned is the definition of doing a good job = you get more work. And now his next few years will be as the Regent in KL! At least Robb and Myrcella have the skills to run the North. Oh man and the Westerlands too… Such a great chapter! I’ve been dying to see what Ned had going on. And so much interesting stuff in this one like the old gods and the gifts the northerners have.. but I do wonder if Tommen will be a warg. He’s definitely more Ned’s son than anyone else’s at this point. In a way that Theon never was. The betrothal to Shireen was EXCELLENT. Her reputation and name make up for her scar in my eyes, and I hope in everyone else’s.

Is it just me or is there no chapter 80 tho?

I keep wanting to know more about what Jon is up to and you keep giving us interest pieces of the story happening elsewhere. I both like and dislike this. I know that a story is better for giving us more information elsewhere, but at the same time I anxiously await the next installment of Jon 'I do know something' Snow. Thank you for making me want to keep reading, even though I dislike waiting.

I love that Ned has been given a chance to shine in an entirely new way. It reminds of Chasing Dragons a little, the way he’s written, but obviously he’s a lot older than he was in that fic so he has more experience and maturity.

One of the best parts of this story is the Stark/Lannister alliance. Even on his death bed paranoid Tywin knew he could entrust both Tommen and the regency to Ned. It’s both a sign of faith and trust not common in Westeros while also being a “fuck you feel my pain.” Because he KNOWS Ned’s not gonna slack or be plotting. Very refreshing.

Beautiful and satisfying as heck. Many thanks.

I love love love this Ned. Still an honorable man but so badass too. And wow has he shaped the world in this story.

I am glad Ned had that meeting with Rickon and some of the weight was removed from his shoulders.

I don't know how you handle correction, but I saw this bit and I think you meant "everyday": 19th Day of the 8th Moon Everything Ned tried to speak again to his son but failed, much to his irritation. Additionally: Unless he finds a few hundred sacrifices for heart trees again to pave the way again…’ "Again" repeated twice, I think you could just removed the first one, and I think "for heart trees" should be "for the heart trees"
