That was surprisingly hard. I'm not happy with how this chapter came out at all. Probably because it's interactions between two characters I avoided writing interactions between. My editors went to sleep long before I was ready, so I decided to drop the chapter raw. You can either read it now or wait until later today (10-12) hours and check it out, it will probably be edited. That being said, if you decide to read now, do give me feedback. Is it bad? Bland? Boring? Inconsistent? Something--anything. Be as critical as you wish/can, so long as it comes from a place of honesty. CoF always feels hit or miss when writing for me, and this chapter has been one of the worst as of late.Anyway, you can read the previous chapters in the collection.

I think the opening scene is kind of.. stiff? I like character lore/building but Moony has never really interested me as a character. I really like newspaper article sequences since they give new info in a different way then usual, where characters just monologue. Also like that the story is more international than canon. I kinda hope Harry does do some duelling or something, idk how someone wouldn't go insane doing what he's doing every day for years.

the only problem I see with this chapter is that I wanted more interaction between Draco and the others. maybe next chapter the entire thing could just be conversations between Harry, Juno, Draco and the others before the arrive at Hogwarts at the very end

I like all the clippings from the news, nice bit of insight into the wider world. To that end, im surprised there was nothing on Juno, just a note along side Harry. Also, poor Draco, familly troubles and now crushing for the friend of the most terrifying teen in the world. Good on him though for choosing to side with Harry though!

Your writing was good as usual, but this chapter was a little dull. They were all conversations that needed to be had, but I personally didn't find them that engrossing. Usually you manage to make exposition more interesting. It could also just be me wanting something more meaty to dig into after a month as well. Perhaps on a re-read it'll flow better. Thanks for the chapter.

I liked the chapter a lot! Even if Draco is a worm, so many authors treat their own characters with such disdain it's off-putting. Making him a real teenage boy in over his head, but still feel decidedly like Draco was really great to read.

Lol, it's surprising that Harry didn't perceive Lupin's presence due to the reopening of DFC club. Though I wonder when Bellatrix's merry band of loons are going to attack a wizarding settlement. Anyways, nice chapter.

Liked it a lot, I see the Sirius and lupin stuff as a side story and the rest as a good transition. Also, I like the time skip tbh. Can’t rush things especially when they’re so young but you need to establish strength when you do the time skips, can be academic or fighting wise. The “heavy feeling” thing with magic is cool though.

Dude this story is insane! huge congrats and please keep up the good work. You won't please everyone but the number of likes and follows should say something! Fantastic work bro

My main thought is, who is Moony now, and can he be trusted? Obviously people can grow apart as they age, with life happening to them. But it certainly is a case of if there is distance and reserve between Moony and Sirius, you should be cautious indeed in who you let into your confidence. The Draco bit was funny. No longer an only child, Draco is no longer the apple of his parents' eye. He is slowly coming to grips with not only that, but puberty and the idea that some of the things he has been taught may have been wrong.
