First, happy Easter to all of you who celebrate it!For those who missed it, I edited and smoothed out the last chapter (15).Anyway, a normal-sized chapter, and it comes out early (mostly on time) tonight. Mostly. Then, we finally come to the other pivotal chapter that I planned from the start. If I have to put it in terms, this marks the beginning of the last(third) arc. I'm not fully satisfied with the chapter, and will probably come for a round of polish later this week. Let me know what you think in the comments below. You can read the previous chapters in the collection.

And thus Jon threw his hat into the ring. Still, this entire talk about treason, can you truly be a traitor if you were never loyal in the first place or proclaimed yourself to be?

Hunter Hardin

Well, that was a quick turnaround. So quick, in fact, that I’m thinkin’ Jon wasn’t quite as content with his quiet life as he was telling himself haha

Crabmaster

Jon "fuck it we're gonna go all in"

stevem1

Great chapter. It went from zero to 60 in a hurry. Jon slaughters men, slaughters more men, gains an ally, gains a bride who gains a dragon. The Greens are cooked. I did like how Jon is superhuman (ish) but still has limitations. His joints and simple physics still checks him.

Patrick Perrault

We're already two thirds of the way through? Damn. Oh well, quality over quantity.

Bertram K Reese

So Jon said fuck it and became King.. that's just too funny

Mattetpunk101

This will be paradox timeline❤️

MehOhWell

Lol. Lmao even. Honestly, I've been waiting for this moment for a while. I do wonder though, what becomes of Baela when all is said and done? Cuz to be honest, there's few ideal husbands for her that won't end in a rehashing of this whole war in 20 years. Though I suppose the "obvious" solution would be to marry both. As said by the mighty Bjorn the Fell-Handed... twins they were.

“F it. We ball” -Jon Snow/Stark

Bishop7053

No surprise he got royces loyalty so quick. Unlike the Greens, he's seen Jon actually act like a proper king able to inspire loyalty and care for the good of his people which is fucking rare in westros. The small folk basically worship the ground he walks on. Also a good think the starks and their army are still coming south. After all can't go back and be too many mouths to feed during winter. Plus the story of how he was protecting rhaena will sure as hell inspire once it spreads. And ya, ain't no such thing as a little treason. So fuck it be ball and go all in on the treason, just aim for the throne and the queen

deinekes9

There's still one big thing that could trip up Jon: everyone still think he's Vizzy T's natural son with the sole exception of himself. But will that actually work in his favor or against for his reputation? The humble and generous bastard who was all but forced to the throne? Or scheming bastard who secretly stole a dragon and a princess?

Dark-Palace

Can’t wait for the greens reaction to Jon. Also can’t wait for the greens to go up against someone who’s competent. Can’t wait for the next chapter bossman!!

John

Ngl I thought Jon jumping to become king was quick. Then I love how you setup almost since chapter 1 what it would take for him to get involved. If he’s gonna do something he’s going for the big prize! I’m excited to see where this goes.

Zombie45

So while the writing is great, I don't like this plot progression and set up for the final arc. I feel it would have been better if Caraxes and Seasmoke had died in the Riverlands. Tessarion and Sheepstealer die in the Reach, which would lead to Rhaenyra's death since she has only Syrax left in terms of adult dragons. Jon should then kill Sunfyre and Aegon before uniting the realm to overthrown a kinslaying tyrant. Just as Jaehaerys and Alysanne did with Maegor Jon and Rhaena could do it with Aemond. This would even bring more legitimacy to there cause and it would be fair. 2 dragons with newbies for riders against Vhagar who's been with Aemond for over a decade now.

Rick Malone

I love how Jon’s only two desired states are either retired fisherman, or sovereign over an entire continent.

Alastor999

If Jon made his own house in this altered timeline, his house words should be “Go Big or Go Home” because dude didn’t move for anything less than the big prize.

Brewt

Thanks for the chapter. Jon going zero to 100 I see.

aiwonder

Finally! Yo but can my man lose that Stark Surname name tho, legitimacy needs him to be a Targ.

Aithoron

Jon Snow knows only two states of being: A quiet, peaceful life; Full conquest, sovereignty, and bloodshed

Corlys

Its treason then

Maniac000

Would be funny if Rhaena gets back to Dragonstone and she finds out the eggs she’s been carrying around for years finally hatched. Keeping secret that Jon and Rhaena are dragon riders is key to winning. After they take out Aegon the last 3 riders will come thinking they have the advantage over Baela.

Grimgoth

Jon Snow "Balls deep it is...or in for a penny in for all 7 kingdoms..." Catelyn Tully "I saw it in a nightmare the bastard will slaughter all his half-brothers and then claim their inheritance." Ned Stark (rolling his eyes) "Yes, yes, Cat, go back to sleep." And so ends the story of the greatest prophet who never was. She just didn't see the end of Tully...before she was born...uh, I hate time travel logic. Good chapter, I think that's what we all hoped/suspected. I'm excited to see what Jon and his bride make of the chaos, they are the New Blacks I guess...black was always his color. 🤣

David

This is where Jon gets the two for one deal. Baela included with her sister. Realistically though at this point I doubt it be wise to let her marry off to another family and simply keep it in the same family unit as her sister. Can’t wait for more since Jon finally out of retirement.

Lucion

It'll get darker he says. Like family killing each other in different gruesome ways wasn't dark before? Let's not mention others who died alongside them faring similar end. Sheesh, you're getting our hopes up!

pangoid

Praying for Jon’s downfall, as that would be funniest.

Kryn_Womble

Damn, since this is probably Jon and Silverwing’s first meeting, I was hoping Vermithor was gonna drag Jonno over or pick him up by the back of his shirt or chestplate like a kitten to show him off to his girl

Abhishek Kumar

See that is why Jon would be a good king, everytime he has created enemies is because he has created better friends...

Andrew Miheso

Not liking this turning point. Jon snow is not a man of ambition, all his titles and authority were foisted on him. This chapter broke his character!

TyrantGod

Isn’t Baela the older twin and technically ahead in line of succession?

Secu

For now, Jon is lacking an army, how convenient that there is a 15k Stark army eager to kill or be killed just around the corner.

Rodrigus

Wasn't ser Lyonel guarding Rhaena's door? Did he follow after Jon when he went outside?

Fiona

The wife has been yoinked, I repeat, wife yoinking is achieved. Lmfao
