Not too late this time. It's not as long as I planned it to be, but it it wasn't as short as I feared. I kind of wanted to gloss over the aftermath, but, I realised a lot of plots culminuate here. Editor was sleepy, so chapter might have a few wonky words. Anyway, let me know what you think in the comments below. You can read the previous chapters in the collection.

A lovely chapter. I am glad you wrote Harry as mature as his actual age and he went through and signed the betrothal agreement. Part of me wonders if there is a timeskip in the next half dozen chapters after setting the stage for the war, or if things will play out more quickly than I am thinking. Voldemort spent a decade in the 70s to get to nearly toppling Britain, and I wonder what his pace will be this time. Will Dumbledore be actually MORE useful without a prophecy involved? How will Lucius' trust in his wife, or Harry's disappearance affect the Malfoy behavior? How will a more sane Voldemort plan his campaign? What actions will Juno take now that she feels she must be the sole protector for her future family? How will Estelle grow as a child? There was already a connection between her and Harry due to his animagus ritual and affinity to flame. Now what shape will that relationship take in addition to Harry being the doting older brother? How will the world react to the 'disappearance' of Harry Potter from the public eye? I think the next thing of immediacy we will see will be Juno's trial and Voldemort setting his plans into motion. I wonder if Voldemort (who *should* clearly know he has a daughter, even if he may not care for parenting - no way Bella doesnt tell him, she would be too proud) would tell his goons to weigh in on Juno's side in the trial in a surprise move of support. Actually, thats something I would LOVE to see next chapter. How does Voldemort react to the death of Bellatrix? He clearly saw Trelawney as a means to an end, but did not totally eschew personal connection as in canon. How will he feel about everything that has happened when he takes a moment to surface from scheming his return to power. Does he care at all? If he does, what form does this care take? Please give me some insight in the next chapter if you can.

Pretty good chapter. Loved the Betrothal letter Juno sent made me laugh I totally see her doing that. I really hope this Powerless Arc doesn't last very long at all it's not my thing and I really hope all the work Harry has put in hasn't been wasted

So, I went back and reread the entire kidnap arc, and I have a few more thoughts. One, Dumbledore will consult Grindelwald on Harry's condition. Juno might wish to, but unless she can blackmail her way into accessing Nurmengard I dont see her as capable enough yet to sneak in on her own. Two, I wonder how symbiotic Harry and Nyx are at this point. They are each other's familiar, which means a magical bond. But Nyx was also present within Harry for all stages of the Animagus ritual. And we still dont know what type of snake Nyx really is. Honestly, the only snake in the world I can think of that is more dangerous than Nyx is a basilisk, and its only due to the death glare. In all other respects, I think Nyx is actually *more* dangerous than a Basilisk. Let's also not forget Nyx is still a juvenile, either. There is no way a magical snake of Nyx's caliber is fully mature in like 2-3 years. I also question the nature of godparents in HP setting. Is there a magical connection as well? If so, Harry and Estelle's magic may actually recognize each other as family due to all the godparenting going on. This may indicate a unique magical connection with Estelle, either to recharge magic or to set him forwards in a further stage of magical change. The magic isnt coming from Estelle, but she is clearly a catalyst of some kind. If it doesn't, then perhaps Harry can recharge his magic via Juno, which would just be delicious for her. She would love it. Probably enforce that recharging must be done via making out. Though, there is a part of me that thinks it would be HILARIOUS if Harry became the male equivalent to a Veela and Juno had to constantly beat women off him with a stick. 🤣 Harry definitely has a marked and notable increase in his appetite since the animagus transformation, and the strength carry over as a notable trait. I am eager to see where this ends up. Maybe his singing voice will improve 😆

Are we getting something like a time skip where Harry vacations in the U.S. and slowly recovers via taking care of Estelle? Birds of fire and all that.

Very interesting chapter. The betrothal offer was nice to see, as was Harry finding a way to get his magic back. I look forward to finding out why Estelle can do that for Harry.

Great chapter, absolutely adore the romantic nonsense cropping up – would do anything for Juno (very much in a "she is literally my daughter's age" kind of way).
