That took me longer than I thought it would. Thankfully, the evening came with a pleasant cool that allowed my mind to think. Chapter is longer in turn. Longer than I expected for sure. This chapter was peak cinema. While I had suspected you might take this direction, it didn’t really seem like it would happen just yet. Makes me wonder how much of this was actually Rhaella’s plan and how much was “Melony’s” subtle influence. Anywho the butterfly’s are sure to follow, and it’s funny because Snowman is still up north with Treeman. Bro didn’t even cross the wall and yet his aura causing all the butterflies.

Yeah, I don’t see how Aerys is wriggling out of this one. Literally got caught with his pants down by half the dang Crownlands and his entire immediate family sans dear old dad. Now Rhaella’s just gotta dodge and weave betrothals for the next few years until our boy’s done frolicking in the Snow. Still no idea what the plan is to bring the two together, I’m guessing they meet halfway at the Isle of Faces since Rhaella seems to be enjoying her educational adventures into paganism, or Jon sees the fuckery his presence has caused in King’s Landing and decides to go on down there and use that cloak Rhaella gave him and waft more air onto that dumpster fire.

Solid chapter. I felt a bit sorry for Aerys really. Comes across as very much a led in the wind compared to who he's surrounded by. Guess we will see how things go from here but sweeping it under the rug seems a broken dream as it were.

Thank you, and I have to hand it to you. You have almost made me like Aerys. Well done, but Rhaella played the game and won quite nicely. I am curious to see how she can leverage this for herself. Great job as always, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

The release of the site is great timing! I used to read on mobile by downloading the doc from google drive and using an app on my phone to tailor the font/etc. to my liking. As of the last chapter of the Harry Potter fic, I couldn't download the doc anymore and it was a massive pain. The site is very well made and makes reading quite painless.

I can't help but feel sorry for Genna, I'm probably just hypersensitive to it, but friends using friends hits hard for me.

It wasn't overly explicit, so I wouldn't worry about that. And frankly, I don't care about their ages. Aerys is what, 16? Which would make Genna 15? 15 and 16 year olds have been doing explicit things with each other since the dawn of humanity. And the notion that you are still a "child" at 15 is an invention of the modern world anyway, not a thing that reflects reality in any meaningful way. In the pre-modern world, 15 year olds were regularly fighting in wars, working in trades, building homes and starting families. They had earned the right to call themselves men and women in pretty much every way that counts. It is only in the modern world that people at that age are so coddled and useless that they could be considered actual children. So for a brutal Medieval setting like Westeros? Yeah, I view them through the lens of their time, place, and life experience, so I consider them functionally adults in a way that most modern teenagers simply wouldn't be.

I like the new site. I can finally play with the settings to get the best appearance for me, depending on the device I use. The plan worked. Aerys will be forced to marry Genna. There is simply no other way out. Too many witnesses, her family is too important, her brother is a friend ... he is boxed in with just one way out. How can Rhaella and Jon meet when they are about 2000 miles away is going to be a challenge. White Harbor is a decent half point, but it's difficult to find a solid reason for the princess to go there. The best way would be for her to go around the 7 kingdoms to find a match, that would make things easier, but I don't think of a good reason to do it.

Muito bom esse desfecho do capítulo, me pergunto o que vão tentar fazer, quase certeza que vão tentar fazer de tudo pra salvar o casamento dos dois. Curioso também pra saber de jon, o que está acontecendo com ele? Como os dois vão se encontrar? Quase certeza que a nossa assassina é a Melony ajkakaka.
