There is something about a competent Ned in KL that is just *chef's kiss*. I think it's because he's always made to be somewhere between acutely unprepared and incompetent, if not an actual straight up idiot at times. So this? This is the good stuff.

I CANT wait for the capital to be bursting with Northmen LMAO! Oberyn only cares about justice for Elia… so I think adding him into the pot in KL is WILD. He certainly won’t step lightly when it comes to Cersei’s schemes or bother juggling King Robert’s reactions. Ned was taking absolutely no backtalk! And taking his bath and ordering new clothes made was a big sign to me that he wasn’t going to be pushed out of KL. In fact, he’s getting comfortable in his position.

Oooh I can't wait for Ned and Obyren to meet. We know Ned is very sympathetic to Obyren's desire for vengeance, and I can't wait to see how that plays out. Also seeing Ned and Howland together being so astute and making further moves is amazing

If Renly had half a brain he’d sit back and profit from Ned excising Cersei’s influence from court. Fill it with Stormlords. They might love and respect Robert more, but I severely doubt that Renly wouldn’t be able to benefit. If Peter wasn’t such a shit that Ned needling him would make things worse, I’d be facepalming. As it is, not like Littlefinger could do worse to him than what he’s planning.
