And here is a soft style rendering I did to keep my skills sharp for Toph Heavy.  I'm going to step away from it for a few days so I can approach it again with fresh eyes. 


What are your thoughts?

It's hard to say which style of rendering I like better, but my gut is leaning towards the soft rendering.

Wait

as a stand-alone, I think the soft looks better. If there were going to be other elements (backgrounds, other characters, multiple pages, etc) then the esthetics for celshading could stand out more.
