We've finished putting together the first alpha for a new update for Scarlet Hollow, and it's now available for you to play on Steam through our alpha branch (and you can download it from Dropbox)

Please keep any and all spoilers for this update under wraps, and if you haven't already, please join our discord server through patreon's integration to help share bug reports.

And here's a link to join our discord server! discord.gg/blacktabbygames

The password for this newest branch on steam is "boiledpeanut" (no quotes.)

And here's your link (same password): https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/41kv27hvkbk8sqc2ofvt7/ScarletHollow-market.zip?rlkey=xaipgukjb19uukzjxq8ba478k&st=nnp5dobx&dl=0

We'll also be updating the alpha tester section of Scarlet Hollow's credits with this update, so if you haven't filled out the credit form, here it is: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScqL7h4m9tEt43vewvfS1aO3Qwabewq3bjmDZIGGYceW_7mEQ/viewform?usp=header

EDIT: ignore previous text describing this as a new game mode, I am sleep deprived and copy/pasted an old post here as a template 😅(tony)

Hey, in case anyone was like me and had never accessed an Alpha version of a game before: 1. You don't have to download the files from Dropbox if you are using Steam. 2. In your Steam library, you can right-click the game in the listing and choose "Properties", or if you already are on the game page in your library, you can click the gear and choose "Properties". 3. Within "Properties", you will see "Betas". Click that. 4. Enter the super secret code in the "Private Betas" field and click "Check Code". 5. It should automatically switch you to playing the alpha version now.
