Hey, folks! Sorry for the wait on these, decided to post em all at once to catch up for the weeks I missed. I'll have two more for you next week!

The day I brought Wednesday in to see the kids was so great! It was the class on reptiles, so I was worried the kids would tune it out because we weren't talking about anything fluffy, but they were so into it. I'm sure the fact that they knew they'd be able to touch a snake at the end of class was a factor in their good behavior...

And I'd been sitting on that last comic for a while, it was very much a venting comic for me so I was a little embarrassed to post it I guess! But I'm sure this is a feeling some of y'all have had before, where you feel nervous eating around people in certain circumstances. Like if they don't order as much as you, or in this case, if they're all thin people sharing light dishes with each other and you're the biggest one at the table, sitting there hoarding yours.

There's a tendency for folks to want to comfort me by saying "no one's watching!" but they are watching. These folks might not have been, but in the past I've noticed people watching me eat, sometimes with a clear look of disdain or disgust on their face. They've snapped at me when I asked about certain menu items, embarrassed to be seen with a large woman who wanted food they deemed too fattening, as if it's their business. Anyway, just something I wanted to get off my chest I guess!!
