When Chuck and Sophie saw a clinical study advert offering up to £40,000 to clear their debts, they had to apply. The study seemed simple. Ten days in a house. No clothes. One other man. Tasks, bonuses, and a scientific arrangement they could keep contained. Then Malik walked in. Tall, dark, and hung in a way that changes everything. Sophie can't stop staring. Chuck can't stop noticing her reaction to him. And the house means to test how far they are each willing to go.

Authors Note: This is a re-written version of the original story, that aims to help the description of the scenes, without altering any of the events. It should help to provide a better version of the story, and more importantly as I work my way through the other chapters, it will lead me to being able to write brand new chapters to complete this story. These rewritten versions are being released as bonus stories. Not scheduled releases.

I was surprised when re-working this chapter. The characters weren't what I remembered, especially up until Day 3. Sophie is a bit quick to fall into her desires. Malik hasn't got much personality(he was always meant to be the quiet confident type, but this was too much). And Chuck is quite precious(more understandable). It would have taken a full re-write, which isn't what this is meant to be, to change that. So I stuck with what was there. I think Malik's talk with Chuck, was the first sign of this story(and the characters) finding itself. And I also think that the final role-playing tasks in day 4, was maybe the start of the tasks coming to life a little too. This story gets hotter the more that is explored, between Malik and Sophie, but also the more that is explored with Chuck and what begins to feed his arousal and desires, and willingness to participate.

Even if it isn't as strong as your recent stories, It was always the big brother house situation and the tasks that made this one a lot of fun to read. As well as seeing Chuck get a taste for the good life 😉 Looking forward to reading these re-writes, and really excited by the prospect of more chapters.

I never read the original, but found this was a decent first chapter despite your own negativity toward it. I really enjoy the whole big brother house set up, and the task situations and knowing how your mind works it should lead to a lot of hot scenarios in future chapters. I can see the difference between this and your recent stuff, but it still looks like this is going to be a really fun read for people like myself who've never read it. Looking forward to reading more ❤️

This story is why I came here wanting more. I think you significantly underestimate it. What it does better than most stories is make the choices explicit. When Charles choses to give Malik the position of power it shows he understands and accepts what is happening. This story because of the activities have way more moments of choice than other stories which is what drives intensity and makes this one of my all time favorites. It just needs that moment of claiming. Ending part 2 with sophie feeling owned but not throwing herself at malik was hot. She is allowing him to claim her. Before that claiming, I'd love a diary where Charles admits that while he doesn't want to lose Sophie that Malik deserves her and she deserves Malik and he doesn't blame either for what is happening. Sophie also admits her feelings of being owned, and her desire to serve Malik as his woman.

I do definitely think this story has strengths, but I also think it would have been a far better story, if I wrote it fresh for the first time now, than when I wrote it 18 months ago. But I still appreciate it, and it's why I want to re-visit it, and continue it. And I really appreciate that you enjoy it so much too. Some people have this as their favourite story, and I love that. xx

I always found this story to be very hot, Kacey - I really liked the cliffhanger aspect of it, not only built into the conclusion of each part, but woven into each task set by the house. Malik is actually one of my favourite of your characters - I admired his strong, silent confidence, his inner sense that this scenario was ultimately only playing out one way...
