Arknights Endfield Patch 1.2 Plans (Patreon)

So, kinda wild update from Arknights with their recent patch livestream. We have a 35 day banner coming for Zhuang Fangyi, and alongside it a banner with 2 rerun characters and 2 standard banner characters. Never seen anything like this before from any gacha games I've played.

Anyway, I want to lay out some plans for character mods given this news and explain what might be expected for ZZZ mods and Arknights mods because of it.

In about 3 days, Cissia will drop. Between now and the Release of Zhuang Fangyi, I'll add as much as I can to Cissia's mod before needing to direct my full attention to Zhuang.

After Zhuang is finished, we will have quite a large window open for other potential mod projects, besides Promeia. So, after Zhuang and before and after Promeia, we can open back up some projects like Last Rite, further progress on Yixuan, (Maybe more additions to Cissia?) and whatever else members want to see. I'll be sure to open up more Mod Polling when the time comes.

This changes things up a bit, but really only in the sense that we may have more time on our hands to give older character some needed mod treatment.

When it comes to Zhuang, there's gonna be a bit of uncertainty in what her NSFW mod limitations will be. From what I've been able to find online, it looks like she has her nude skin component/mesh comprising her legs, upper arms, upper chest and back. So not much. What this means, if you've seen my explanations for how character material slots work in Arknights, is that the only areas of the model that can be replaced by a nude body while maintaining a natural skin look will be areas adjacent to the original skin component mesh (mesh means the 3D geometry comprising a model).

Because of this, I'm thinking that adding lewd outfit options that can take advantage of the skin limitations while still offering tasteful nude exposure will be best. I'll make sure to first add toggles to remove as much of her clothing as possible and replace it with nudity, but then from there, I think a bunny suit would be a good option for her. It would match pretty much perfectly with her current component configuration.

She also has an Ult form. You probably won't see a whole lot of it outside of moments in combat, but I'll be sure to do something with it as well.
