Should at least wait until the next episode as they may have reordered things so their could be more explanation. Best not to jump the gun too early.

It would be pretty strange based on how stuff progresses and how much it skims through the webtoon. They could've added 30 seconds of dialogue.

They did skip a lot, but like Andrew said, at least wait an episode before offering an explanation. It's pretty common in anime adaptions to reorder things

AniNews on YouTube is doing videos for each episode going over the skipped content from the Webtoon. He's done episode 1 and 2 so far and is releasing a new episode each week. Well worth the watch as it helps to flesh things out a bit more and also highlights some interesting changes. Would love to see you react to those as well as they are good recap to refresh the story and help to keep track of all of the information as there is quite a lot to keep track off. Food for thought if you're interested.

Urek is a good example as they mentioned him in chapter 1 but not until episode 5 in the anime so they could introduce the information in a slightly different way.
