This is a preview of my newest story in my newest series: Mind Control Bridal Tales! This new series will focus on the classic lesbian mind control content you know and love, but with a bridal and marital focus and presented in anthology format. I had originally planned on releasing these all at once, but editing has taken some time, so instead I'm getting this content out as quickly as I can! It’s available now on Amazon now!

Synopsis: For the better part of her life, Olivia has secretly pined for her gorgeous best friend, Camila, but never dared to voice those feelings. Now, as Camila prepares to walk down the aisle and wed Matt, a rich and charming man whom Olivia worries will dim Camila's shine, Olivia's desperation has sent her to pursue a mystical alternative.

At a hidden bodega in an undisclosed location, Olivia purchases a magic bracelet that is said to immediately and irrevocably link the two people who exchange the item and create an unstoppable connection of love and desire.

But on Camila's wedding day, Olivia carelessly leaves the bracelet in her childhood bedroom, miles away from the venue. Luckily, Olivia's magnanimous mother, Diana, comes to the rescue to deliver the bracelet... directly to Camila herself.

The first entry in Margot Quietwater's new series: Mind Control Bridal Tales. Coming soon on Amazon.

The moment the bracelet touched Camila’s palm, something shifted.

A strange, electric warmth spread from her hand, crawling up her arm and sinking into her chest like a slow, rolling wave. For a brief second, she thought she had imagined it—too much champagne, too much adrenaline from the day. But then her breath hitched, and the warmth wasn’t just warmth anymore. It was pulling at her, wrapping around her, tightening.

Camila blinked, her vision swimming for half a second before locking onto Diana.

Her heartbeat stuttered.

She had looked at Diana a thousand times before at dinner parties, at Olivia’s house, during holidays when she was younger. She had always seen her as someone’s mom. Put-together. Elegant. Beautiful in that effortless way older women sometimes were.

But this wasn’t that.

This was something else entirely.

The warmth inside her twisted, surging, turning from something soft into a sharp, undeniable pull.

Diana.

Diana, standing there, her long legs in form-fitting leggings, her toned stomach teasingly visible beneath the cropped edge of her zip-up. Sweat still clung to her skin from whatever workout she had been doing, a flushed, sun-kissed glow on her face. Her high ponytail, slightly messy from the heat, should have made her look disheveled. Instead, it made her look devastatingly attractive.

Camila couldn’t stop staring.

Her stomach fluttered, clenched a slow, liquid coil of heat spreading lower.

This was wrong. This was insane.

Diana frowned slightly, shifting her weight. “Camila?”

Her name sounded different in Diana’s voice now.

Camila swallowed, her fingers tightening around the bracelet like it was the only thing keeping her grounded. She needed to say something. Anything.

“Sorry,” she said, voice slightly breathless. “I—um. I wasn’t expecting a bracelet.”

Diana raised an eyebrow. “Would you have preferred cash?”

It was teasing, dry. Unremarkable.

And yet, Camila felt something sharp, something visceral sink into her, because Diana was teasing her.

Camila laughed too quickly, too eager, and a hair too much.

She needed to get herself under control, but the warmth curling through her veins wouldn’t let her.

Her lips parted, something dangerous lingering on the tip of her tongue.

Diana exhaled softly, glancing toward the door. “I should go. I want to be home before dark.”

No.

Camila nearly flinched at how violently the thought crashed through her.

Her fingers itched to reach out, to grab Diana’s wrist, to pull her back. The idea of her leaving, of walking out of this room, of putting distance between them… it felt unbearably wrong.

“Wait,” Camila blurted out.

Diana turned back, curious.

Camila’s mind raced. She had no reason to stop her. No excuse. No explanation. And yet, she couldn’t let her go.

She needed to be closer.

She needed to touch her.

Her throat felt dry as she forced out the first thing that came to mind.

“Did you—um. Did you want to stay for a drink?”

Diana hesitated. “A drink?”

Camila lifted her champagne flute, ignoring the way her hand trembled slightly. “Yeah. Just—just one. Since you’re already here.”

Diana studied her for a second too long, then sighed, shifting her stance. “I shouldn’t. I don't want to drink before driving. Plus, I’m not really dressed for—”

“It’s just us,” Camila cut in eagerly.

Diana arched a brow.

Camila’s heart slammed against her ribs a little too hard.

For a split second, Diana almost looked amused.

And then, finally, she stepped forward, reaching for the champagne bottle.

Camila released a slow, shaky breath.

Diana wasn’t leaving.

She wasn’t leaving.

Thank fuck, she wasn’t leaving.
