Darcy is saying that he wants to cut back on the snacks but when he sees them he feels tempted to have one. Maybe you could compromise, instead of getting rid of the snack put them out of the way and not the first thing you see. At the moment when you open the fridge the first thing you see is probably shit loads of chocolate and you have to search for the fruit. Maybe instead make the first thing you see the fruits and stuff like the chocolate in a draw that isn't instantly visible that way people can still get all the chocolate they want and Darcy will first see a banana to snack on and not be tempted to grab a chocolate that is so easy to grab.

I think you have to make sure you always have healthy alternatives available and easily accessible and maybe keep the unhealthy snacks “separate” (I know that’s probably difficult in one fridge) but it sounds like it’s important to Darcy that he stays healthy and I don’t see any harm in trying to help him out. Getting rid of the unhealthy snacks entirely is a bit extreme to the other employees who might gain enjoyment from them, but there’s definitely some middle ground that should be found

I think Darcy over thinks a lot, there's some things in the vids that he thinks need to change and have changed, where it was okay because part of the humor from the vids is the disorganization. And he might have a hard time with sarcasm, like you guys say something sarcastic about him and you can tell he takes it seriously. Has Darcy taken an autism test? I'm an audio listener.

As a recovering hard drug addict with eight years clean, darcy is the one out of line here. It's totally reasonable to ask for healthy alternatives to be in the office, but to ask for all the other ones to be taken out is definitely crossing the line. Period. I realize you said it's hard, but no one is saying it's easy, of course it's hard. But some things are worth going through hardships to get to the other side of. I hate to drop the corny line, but not everything in life is easy. Again, I would just be very thankful of the privilege given to you by also supplying the steady supply of healthy snacks.
