Best of the Worst: The Photon Effect, How I Saved the President, and Double Down

http://www.redlettermedia.com - The gang (and special guest Max Landis) watch 3 off-genre films: a superhero film, a 90's children's film, and something that defies any genre. Will they survive Max Landis? I mean the movies!?

This is a sight for sore eyes, BotW is back !

Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Congrats on a REALLY weird ending.

Christian Dannie Storgaard

Holy shit! That was one of the best Best Best of the Worst Best so far! I'll be looking forward to seeing you watch horrible movies with Ma Cau Cau soon.

Markus Huppert

That was fantastic. The destruction was also just brilliant. :D I happened to stumble over Mr. Breen's "Fateful Findings" last year and it's all the same stuff. He's just the best at stuff...

l This was a great one! I laughed along and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. What a cool ending, too! Cheers!

Christopher O'Brien

This is why you guys are worth supporting. Pure brilliance.

Bojac

Holy shit this episode was great, and does Max way more service than the interview did. Bra-fucking-vo on the ending sequence. How did that get organized? Did he just go off and do that on his own? Was it suggested by you guys?

Ken

Neil Breen's films are not easy to find, but having seen all 3 of the released ones so far, I can promise you, they are all worth your time. This is probably my new favorite episode of BOTW. Everything just comes together beautifully. And as a guest Max is a fresh new voice to bring to the table, very interesting.

holy crap. all these comments showed up while I was watching the show hahaha

Sammich

Best BOTW I've seen...ever

Joshua Moon

Max is trying too hard to make friends with the cool kids.

David Anderson

Max Landis won me over, but his scripts are still dumb.

Alexander Ondler

Also the stock CG body scanner image from "The Amazing Bulk" is in "The Photon Effect" on either the good science lab or the Nega science lab.

Don Bright

I felt unhappy when Max kept interrupting Rich Evans.

WINTER OWL

I guess I kinda warmed up to Max, I might watch some of his movies, because why not. Anyway, THE ENDING. OH CRIKEY.

Gary Gary Gary Gary

My wife and I pretty much laughed for the entire Double Down part. I liked Max, but I get why some don't. Very LA. Also, he was trying to be cool, yeah, but I found that endearing.

Jeremy Nolen

This might be my favorite BOTW - Max has surprisingly good chemistry/timing with you guys. Obviously you MUST do Neil Breen's 'Fateful Findings' at some point in the future. Rich's attempt to summarize Double Down had me laughing so hard my wife thought I was having some kind of medical emergency.

Bloodynine

Wow that ending sequence was genuinely brilliant.
