Hey everyone. We're starting to work on a re:View of the 1988 remake of The Blob, since we arbitrarily said one would be coming in 2021 back in our The Mist re:View from several years ago. We also have a new commentary track for the 2000 flop Dungeons and Dragons coming soon! In addition to those, we'll most likely be shooting a new Best of the Worst towards the end of the month but for now, we're taking a little time off from that just to recharge a bit.

And lastly, the second (and sorry, last) part of our Twin Peaks re:View will be posted this weekend. Like the first part, it's almost an hour long and covers a bit more of the show's broader themes and weird ass ending.

Steven Perry

I can't wait for the new commentary track!

Gar Kelleher

Love the commentary tracks!!! Is there any reason that they are few and far between in the overall RLM content?

Silentphil9

Prince of Darkness, dammit!!!

Annette G.

I'll never forget The Blob remake. My dad loved trash movies and horror (to a point). He rented that movie when it came out on video. I was like 6 or 7 at the time. I saw the phonebooth scene and then went and hid in my room. Thanks for the memories, Dad.

RedVIII

Please take your time to recharge you beautiful bastards. You deserve it. :) Looking forward to all of this stuff!

Freddy Ray

Glad to hear about the break, you guys have really been cranking out content during these weird ass, stressful times. Pls rest

Chris Ferrin

Just watched it last week with the kiddos and immediately thought "This needs a re-view!" Much better than expected.

Rattslinger

You guys are doing great, do what you gotta to keep being awesome.

Pete Petraitis

Take some time, you guys are great and deserve a break!

MylesDubs

I'm excited to hear your thoughts. I like the original the blob from the 1950s so I hope you guys talk about that a bit.

Zach

The 1988 Blob remake is often overlooked as the special effects are mostly great and Kevin Dillon's Hair could possibly deserve it's own discussion.

Masa

There are great anal suppositories available for recharging, you can plug them to your sockets and afterwards sell them to fans too.

Complicated Stares

Boy do I love The Blob remake, I think I probably go back and watch it a couple times a year. The Body horror and special effects (for the most part) are on point.

Sputnik34

you hack frauds actually stick to your word. you all are the best. :) recharge all you need

Tarv

Some of the best movies I watched this year were because of you guys, movies that would have never been on my radar. Also, all the terrible mainstream movies that were complete letdowns, were only made better by giving me the context to allow you guys to rip them apart. Thank you!

Lelio Mulas

This is great news! I must illegally download... I MEAN... buy a legitimate copy of D&D from an official outlet for sure I swear.

Jazz Jackrabbit

Any plans to do a re:View for Mandalorian S2?

Grahm Petersen

Thank you guys for all of your hard work! 2020 sucked and your videos made it much more tolerable.

David Stonecypher

I miss “fuck you it’s January” but it seems everything is January now

Lisa

So much to look forward to, thanks! Enjoy any downtime you can get.

Rolf Regensburg

Maybe I'll have to see that D&D-movie now..

Charlie Castle

Curious what Mike and Rich have to say about Mandalorian season 2...

MyNameIsFatMike

Glag the boys are getting to enjoy some time off. Looking forward to all the new content

Rhea

Oh hey I just rewatched that review of The Mist and was wondering if you'd end up following through on that. And just to echo everyone else, I'm glad you guys are taking some time to chill and reset.

sawyer nicoll

Did you guys watch Sound of Metal?? My favorite film of the year!

Tomas

Did you need a lie down in a dark place after watching discovery finale

Alastair Ward

I haven't seen that D&D movie but it's nice to hear you're doing commentary tracks again.

Manuel Johnen

Oh god, I remember taping the "Blob" remake off TV in the mid 90s and basically inhaling that movie over the next few years... believe me, it doesn't hold up over the course of a few dozen watchings... especially, when you buy the DVD fifteen years later and go through the gory effect scenes frame by frame. It's held in almost the same esteem today, but "The Thing" or "The Fly" it most certainly is not...

Neil Peart, Lord of Drums

You guys definitely deserve a break. You've been pumping out content like crazy the last few months. But hey, that's why you're the only Patreon to which I subscribe. This really is a full-time job for you. Happy new year!

Delfy Morce

Take a well earned break!

Yarn From Space

Have a restful break. Excited for the Re:View and Twin Peaks

AllGoodNamesRGone

Enjoy the rest! Time for Mike to catch up on 90 Day Fiancé, Jay on all his weird movies, and Rich on diabetes medication. I can only imagine how cold shooting is in a Milwaukee warehouse/studio in January.

Mira N.

Yeah get some rest and avoid burnout! That blob re:view sounds great

Lowell Bartholomee

Definitely take a break. But '88 Blob deserves your attention. Thank you for your service.

Izra Tarded

You guys should take the whole month of January off. it would be a nice "fuck you its January" tradition.

hamish smith

As much as I hate large gaps between RLM content you guys deserve a break.

Adam W Johnson

old Best of the Worst episodes have been getting me through quarantine, it almost makes me feel like I have friends

Karlo0o

An audiocommentary to D and D the horrible movie! This is the best late Christmas Present, I never wanted, but now need! Make it happen!

Caleb

New commentary tracks are the things I look forward to the most from RLM. And I'm extremely pumped at the selection. Can't wait 👍

Dane Liergaard

Heeeeey, this post is from January 7th. I'm beginning to think their claims that they filmed The Blob re:view in the blissful ignorance of January 4th were lies...
