Best of the Worst: Bad Movie Scavenger Hunt Too

Hey remember the Bad Movie Scavenger Hunt???? It's a gimmick we only did once, two years ago. We didn't run this gimmick into the ground! So now it's back! This time, there's three contestants, two pieces of criteria, and endless trash to choose from! Who will win the scavenger hunt? What will win Best of the Worst? And when will someone change my diaper???

My BOTW scavenger hunt idea I'm sure you could care less about- Four categories- noun, verb, image, etc., three items for each category, two players. Must find (2?) tapes/DVD's whose covers meet some number (thinking four is too hard, three?) of the criteria they are given. Players alternate first choices. So choose one of the nouns (beast, man, operation, computer), one of the verbs (kill, learn...), one of the images (animal, woman, knife, tree), one of the etc. (tape has at least one non-English word on cover, tape is missing basic info- run time, black spine...). Which is too hard, but I think the basic idea might be something, you all know what is on the covers. Could create some interesting strategy as they try to line up a combination that isn't bizarre, or force the other player into a combination that is bizarre. I think the possible Rich Evans misery is considerable and quite attractive as an entertainment prospect.

Strange that a still from Silk 2 was used for the back cover of Silk 1. Scrolls! I honestly would have been upset if Ed Wood was not referenced in the Ultra Warrior segment. That's the greatest movie he never directed. How weird is it, that a cheap monster movie with a papier-mache prop ends up standing out by its sound editing. My expectations sure were subverted. Nice to see Horse Ninja 2 as well.

Oh fuck, I've seen "Ultra Warrior"! It's called "Alpha 2" in Germany, for... reasons? Still got the old rental tape. Total horseshit movie... you guys would have been better off with "American Cyborg: Steel Warrior", which isn't too bad, but, eh, fate I guess... :P

This is gonna be an episode I rewatch a ton. Very comfy, lots of good bits. Majaculate (madraculate?) made me laugh so hard. I'm pretty sure that turkey eating scene is what inspired the pie eating scene in A Ghost Story, I'm pretty sure David Lowery said that in an interview.

My favorite part was Jack having the time of his life watching Silk 2, then his confusion at 'Ultra Warrior' (I really hope that copy that was destroyed was the last one on Earth) and then the shock/horror of 'Blood Freak'. I wanted to use a paint scraper on 'Blood Freak' everything had a weird, nasty coating on it.

Great episode guys! I know BOTW takes a lot of work, but it really shows. They’re always seamlessly put together and so much fun. Those clips to Monique Gabrielle in Deathstalker 2 are priceless. Also shout out to Jay’s encyclopedic knowledge of the films they’ve seen and their notably unique performances.
