It's so funny I'm watching this now because I just unintentionally did an Indiana Jones marathon the other day and while I watch Raiders a lot, I hadn't seen Last Crusade in a long time. I forgot about both Henry Jones men sleeping with the Nazi. I burst out laughing at how weird it is.

I don't know if Jay used a colourful euphemism when he said he never saw such a mash-up of movies, but HK ninja flicks from the 80s where infamous for that. They used about 15mn of scenes with western "actors", and edited them in older movies. "Seamless" transitions where done by phone calls or shot/reverse-shot and awesome dub. Richard "Blooddebts" Harrison thought he signed up for a two movie contract (with and without moustache), but he ended up appearing in two dozens terrible Direct-to-VHS "movies". He semi-retired when he found out he got scammed. The old man wants his dignity back. I could recognise a few from the VHS and DVD collection. Ninja Champion checks a lot of marks. It blends four movies together, the plot, acting roller-coaster, the writing, not going to spoil the rest.
