In this episode of Best of the Blurst, the gang pays tribute to b-movie veteran Albert Pyun. He's made post apocalyptic movies. He's made cyborg movies. He's made post apocalyptic cyborg movies. He's done it all!

Yay! We got Jack! Boo, where’s Mike? Yay! Long haired Jay seems to be making a comeback 😍

Uriah L

Yes! Love a Josh/Jack episode

Conor

Hi Jack I love you. Happy Thanksgiving fellas.

Count Sqwueekula

Not gonna lie, I went through some super dark shit this year(like finding my father’s blue, naked corpse in his own home a few months ago) but RLM is positively worth their weight in gold for the joy they bring. Appreciate you all; happy thanksgiving everyone.

Manuel Johnen

You should also do a Re:view of "Nemesis", Pyun's one honest to god really, really good movie... and pretend that the sequels never existed...

Manuel Johnen

By the way, the bad guy in "Cyborg" is named "Fender Tremolo"... so there's a theme there...

Zan Ferguson

Jack is always a delight. Best of the Worst drop days are always great days.

Daniel Frank

Grimace was originally "The Evil Grimace" and was a four-armed thing that would steal milkshakes. You can find pictures if you Google Evil Grimace. Per the McDonalds fandom wiki, he is of indeterminate species.

AllGoodNamesRGone

I'm fighting a head cold, so thanks to RLM for making my day a little brighter. Also happy thanksgiving to the RLM crew and all the patreons here giving support.

run_away

Interesting to see a group of dudes whose job is primarily to make fun of people make a whole video intended to cheer up a dying old man. Nice to see em try something new

Munchman

RLM needs to do a Dollman in a BotW episode.

Munchman

Just FYI, Dollman vs Demonic Toys is actually a TRIPLE sequel. We watched Demonic Toys and Dollman in preparation for it and then found out you need to watch a THIRD movie to get the full backstory, Bad Channels is the third movie. So yeah for my bad Movay noight we had to abandon the Demonic Toys vs Dollman and next time we can get together we'll watch it... Well actually next movay Noight (this Saturday Noight) we are looking to watch Maximum Overdrive, but Bad Channels is on the list. The best scenes of Dollman has to be Dollman 'diving out the window' and 'hanging from side of car to bad buys hideout', both scenes happen back to back and had us all RoFLing so hard.

DonMac

Gibson Rickenbacker is a name clearly inspired by electric guitars

Bill Wilson

Arcade gave me some Amazing Bulk PTSD. Great review. Very enjoyable. No mention of Tron.

Matthew Murray

I was surprised and delighted at how sweet this episode was at the end during the “tribute” to Pyun. It’s clear how much the RLM guys really love movies and the people who make them, and to see that put on screen this way was surprisingly moving. Good job, everyone—including Albert Pyun. Living your dream can be very difficult, and anyone who does it full out, especially if they meet success with it, is deserving of praise and good memories.

Patrick Milnes

Loved the episode. I was also thinking about another person that recently passed away with Kevin Conroy, who voiced the animated Batman. And I remembered Rich saying that was his favorite portrayal (I think during a pre-rec episode). So it would be cool to see a Re:View of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm cause I think that movie does a lot of unique things with a Batman movie, like an actual brand new character/villain. Anyway, it would be cool to see but understand if it won't happen.

Jermania

Seth Green is so forgettable you all forgot to mention he was young Richie Tozier in the 1990 IT movie.

Del Davis

Wow! I completely forgot about Cyborg. It was a long time the worst film I ever saw starring Van Damme. Until I saw Black Eagle...

Rick Drake

I was worried without Mike there wouldn't be a Star Trek reference. Luckily John DeLancie made an appearance, which means it's required.

JimiAKAme

There are also characters in cyborg named Marshall Strat and Fender Tremolo. Someone who was really horny for guitars named them obviously

Marvin Falz

Great episode, Thank you. :)

Kim Luu

Happy Thanksgiving, RLM crew!

Michael Parker

Knew that Captain America "thanks" had to be in there someone where and you put it in at the perfect moment.

andrew

“The Cannon MCU” is a missed opportunity.

andrew

Why are you assuming the “Cyborg” dummy was a dummy?

Hercules Castro

I mentioned this in the YT comments, but I really need Josh to hear it: I’m not paying you guys one or three or whatever dollars a month for him to miss all the guitar references in the characters’ names in Cyborg. It’s like he bought that Passion and Warfare shirt just to fit in with the young folks. On a more serious note, you guys have consistently put out better content in the last decade that anyone else on YouTube (and most of Disney+). Thanks for that and I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!

Enrico Balducci

I’m finding some sources that say that Grimace was supposed to be an enormous taste bud..

Scott

I wished you guys had watched Mean Guns. I watched Cyborg as a kid in the late '80's and it's great and hold up. But man, Mean Guns is one of the best late '90's DTV action films.

Rattslinger

Thanks guys, this was really fun!

Rhea

This was great you guys. I hope Pyun gets to see it. Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you're feeling better Mike!

Lelio Mulas

It was an immensely funny and surprisingly moving episode.

Jermania

Loved the episode! Get well soon, Mike!

Katy

Thank you boys, for doing this good-hearted thing. Safe passage to you, Albert.

Simia Canis

Pyun also directed "Alien from L.A." with Kathy Ireland. It was a great MST3K episode.

Marvin Falz

Happy belated Thanksgiving to you all. :)

Kellic

You got Pyuned....I want a t-shirt of that. Only certain people would ever get it.

Horror Movie Talk

I'm surprised that Full Moon hasn't been featured more in BotW. It was definitely a big part of my adolescence renting those shitty shitty movies. I would love to see more of their stuff show up. Charles Band put out a memoir last year called "Confessions of a Puppetmaster", which was really fascinating. He has had a really interesting life.

Lee Noble

This VR game looks about as immersive as Knightmare. If you’re not familiar with this UK children’s tv show from the late 80s, you need to look it up. You may of course have had a version of your own over there but you’ve not referenced it so far so I guess not.
