An epic conclusion to a below average story line.

Ryan Morris

Sucks about the timing. Still a really fun crossover for the guys though!

sacch

I laughed I cried I came, that was pure cinema

Kim Luu

I’m incredibly impressed with this finale

trebel

I knew it was Glembezza caused George Lucas to become senile.

Frazzled Doo

Pfffft. You guys do great impressions.. there’s no way ‘with your production budget’ you bought voice actors.. just stick to gorilla noises You polish sausages🥸

Andre K

This literally broke new ground!

LB876

SYBOK!!

Heather Lam

Great wrap up. The Glembeeza storyline was hysterical.

Dion Turner

This was a real multiverse of madness

Neil Peart, Lord of Drums

This was exactly what I needed today. Also, nice touch with the "starring Mike, Jay, Justin Roiland, With Special Guest Star Rich Evans." ETA: Filming Rich beating up what I presume was a dummy of Jay (I'm pretty sure it was a dummy, but it was so well-articulated that it could have been a stuntman...) must have been a nice reminder of Mike and Rich's good old days!

Michael Parker

I had a feeling based off the second preview image that the tables would be turned. Didn't expect it to get much weirder than that. Nice use of multiple camera angles. That dummy was very convincing. Looked just like Jay.

Steven

Congrats fellas. This must have been so cool to do.

Eric O'Brien

he turns himself into an old man, funniest thing you ever saw

AllGoodNamesRGone

Wow, I didn't expect so many dummy Jay dick shots. Also it's now in my head canon that [spoilers] are Mike and Jay in reality.

Rick Drake

Had to call in an outside writer to get you out of this mess? Just like Star Wars.

Mike St Louis

That was an incredible R&M impression! That Rich Evans is a genius!

Liz Archer

Rich's little smile at the very end was too cute!

Cary Thrasher

Wait, so what did Brett Farve do?

Kelly Nguyen

It makes me sad when mom and dad fight

Rhea

Okay but the blue hair on Mike looks uhhh kinda good 👀 Who does the old age makeup? Is there a dedicated h/mu person amongst you guys?

Tibor Toth

This is already the movie of the year here and in most alternate universes as well, except the one where Neil Breen was born as Spielberg’s twin brother.

Tony Dupre

This was a glorious masterpiece.

Bill Wilson

Such an epic ending! So many things to highlight, no point in rattling them off one by one. Overall, I love how the stakes keep rising to ridiculous levels in every storyline. When a deus ex machina becomes the only logical way out, its finer points are bound to be unexpected.

Peter Varga

"So Mike, wanna watch some movies?" "Nah." anyway great production all around! and an awesome guest star (Mr. Evans)!

Marvin Falz

Love the pun (Jayus ex Mikeina). The SFX (opening/closing of the portal, and the wiping ray) look pretty good. Laughed out loud when I heard Jay's old man voice ADR'ed over the dummy throws. That was nice.

H o o D

So now we know who the special guest they've been teasing for the next BOTW is gonna be.. (Rich Evans)

Carly

Mike you look good with blue hair !! Brilliantly written and executed. 💙

Marvin Falz

I find interesting that this episode is the conclusion of a story that hadn't been developed beyond its premise. (At least I don't remember lol). So there was no slow reveal of information, no episode-ending dramatic questions, no build-up of any tension that would need a story climax. And yet, rejuvenated Plinkett taking revenge on glembeezaed Mike and Jay makes total sense, because of all the years before where Mike and Jay took advantage of Plinkett's senility. So this part of the story is still plausible. I have never seen Rick & Morty, so I have no emotional response besides what I've seen in this episode, but I've seen images from that show, and I believe that's the color palette that was used for timetravelling Mike and Jay. Clothes and visual effects. This episode had a lot of expository dialogue (the information that would have been given slowly over a couple of episodes I presume) and that was the element of this story that I found a drag. Besides that, this episode of Half in the Bag is another fine example for why I think that you guys are and always have been extraordinarily talented at all levels of filmmaking, and able to create really awesome content, be it web shows, short films or movies. P.S.: there is one continuity error that I spotted. At one point you can see the TV screen leaning against the wall, though it hasn't been ripped from the other wall yet. Doesn't matter though.

Patrick Brennan

Sending Jay a tiny piece of dental floss to use as a belt

Robert Dodrill

Best thing I've seen since Space Cop.

Ryan

Ahh yes. The long awaited HitB review of Night Court.

Juan Calvo

It's only a matter of time until Mr. Plinkett discovers that the heads are still lickable in this universe.

Sfcpunk

This was awesome but does it mean that the whole bit is over now? What will be the next set gimmick?

run_away

Chad Plinkett is dead, long live Mr. Plinkett

Lianne Lairmore

Haha that was great but I'll miss old Mike and Jay. Their confusion and complete apathy as old people is perfect.

Mark Fetherston

I clapped and clapped and CLAPPED when I saw the thing I saw on the TV. Seriously, that was brilliant.

schopi

Obvious Academy Award nomination for best short film. Also if Rich Evans doesn't get his long overdue Oscar for this one, I don't know anymore...

Sean Brombosz

My jaw dropped like a looney toons character when I watched this.

Lee Noble

The crossover event of the millennium!

DonMac

With the "Newhart" hint, I thought they were going to do a "it was all a dream" storyline. But they subverted my expectations with this.

David S

The multiverse creates limitless storylines, but at the end of the day it’s about family.

Gavin Redmond

That was a laff and a half. Hilarious.

Stan Jonathan Keller

I’ve been to Night Court dinner theatre but this was better.

Damon Killian

I sat on this episode until last night, glad I did when my son happened to be watching. MY coolness factor skyrocketed when the R&M bit came on. Thank you.

Kellic

Totally subverted expectations.

Keith Feinstein

I don't like it because it wasn't the same thing I'm used to.
