It still baffles me that Josh knew Meredith Monk. I get that he's the music guy, but then I saw the video and...What the fuck, Josh? Is Josh also that literally one guy that knows every Yoko Ono screaming into a microphone track (I refuse to call them "songs")? Does he listen to Inuit throat-singing and Gregorian chants? Thankfully, Turtle Dreams led to my favorite Rich Evans skit ever. I'd say it deserves to be in a Hall of Shame, but Rich's "performance" in it alone raises it into the rarefied air of this shelf.

I like how artful the composition is, kubrickian in its emotional distance and symmetry, lynchian in its weirdness and seemingly random layering of meaning within meaning. How mankind evolved from a turtle on the moon into the Actar baby. See, everything is story. Even the Best of the Worst Hall of Fame shelf tells a story. Or maybe I'm just insane.
