May 2025 - ALL unique maps now FREE, VTT-ready maps, Adjusting my Schedule and UK Games Expo (Patreon)

Hey!

New Schedule

After chatting with people in the community and collecting feedback, I have decided to change how I will do releases. From May onwards, I will release less map packs (as to avoid spam) but will maintain the same amount of content released (if not, more). Essentially, instead of releasing 2 battle map packs per month, I will release 1 that has the equivalent of 2+ inside it.

Free Maps!

As well as this, I have decided that all of my maps will be free. This does not include variants such as night, dusk, snow, rain, etc. but I feel that more access to maps makes for a happier and more creative community.

New Formatting

I have started making all of my maps for the WEBP format and VTT format too. I am making the change to WEBP to save on space for myself and for you. VTT will be introduced because, well, why would that not be convenient? This will be accessible to my Sage Supremes and above!

Note: My maps from January to May do not currently support VTT. I will change this over the course of May. Thank you for your patience.

Better Organisation

So, my organisation in day-to-day life is pretty good. Digitally though, not so much. Do not check my desktop... To help with this and to make it much easier for finding the right map for you, I will be utilising Patreon's Collections feature more as well as organising packs generally better. This will be a constantly evolving process.

New Tier (with new art coming soon!)

I love doing commissions and I want them to be more available for people. As a result, I have introduced a new tier for those who truly want massive monthly maps and I have introduced commissions into some of the lower tiers too!

UKGE

May 30th to June 1st, you'll be able to find me with Moon Beast Games at UK Games Expo! We are at Stand 2-218 - come say hi! Teaming up with Moon Beast, I have written my first 5e module, "The Plague of Ashenwood". Also be sure to check out their newest release: "Three Sheets to the Wind".

Big Thanks!

Finally, I wanted to say thank you to everyone for your continued support! We're already flying past 250 patrons and 300 is in the near future. I appreciate it so much!Cheers! :D~ Matthew.W
