I should have had this out ages ago :P

But, as I've said before, life often has other plans. In this case, my latest granddaughter decided to show up a little over a week early. While Mom and Dad were at the hospital, our eldest granddaughter went to mom-side grandma while the (now)middle granddaughter stayed with us.

I love my granddaughters. I would happily give up a kidney or take a bullet for one... but damn, was I glad when she went home. 😅 That little ball of energy straight up wore our asses out, and neither I nor my wife got jack done while she was here. It honestly makes me wonder how the hell we managed to survive raising our son and daughter. However, back then, we were in our twenties and had the energy to keep up with our kids.

Not so much these days.

I was hoping Kal and company would get out of Silvermoon soon but it looks like there's at least another chapter of research and wrap-up before they finally depart.

A little bit of rough sex in this one, hence the tag, as Kal needs to get violent with a particular monster girl, but nothing too bad imo.

Kal finally has decided on a flag, and I have to apologize. It looks a little different from the polls and everything we did a while back. I took a long, hard look at what is considered good and bad flags and chose to simplify the design a little more.

While I hated taking out the burgundy and gold stripes, my reasoning is explained in the chapter.

The shield is still a bit of a WIP, as I haven't found a set of Ikuno's horns that actually look good.

In art news... sigh... I don't have any. Sadly, I have to admit it may be a while before I do. Unfortunately, taxes this year hit me like a freight train, and between those and mounting medical bills, I have zero disposable income to invest in art. Having said that, I have been saving up some money to get a few more pages of the comic done, assuming the artist still wants to work with me after such a long silence.

As far as Character Art, Bun is still incommunicado, and I get the feeling she won't be returning to doing commissions as her social media accounts are essentially dead. I have made some attempts at finding a new artist but with no luck. And, since the tax thing came up, as I said, I don't have the income to hire another artist. It sucks, but that's the current situation.

Patreon has introduced a recommendation page. As many of you probably expect, I will be recommending Annabelle Hawthorne's page once I figure out how it all works. I have a couple of other pages that will go on there, but I'm curious:
